Tomorrow kicks off the NBA season. The Lakes have a great start in the preseason of 6-2. The team is solid - with or without Kobe. It's on!!!!

The Lakers are off to a great 3-0 start and I believe, if they stay healthy, are able to win it all!!!

Check out New Orleans! They are 10-0 including their preseason.

The rockets are undefeated in their season schedule. I feel for McGrady. I hope he gets passed the first round this year.

My sixers are 2-2... They won their last game 125-91 against the Kings. They should be 3-1, but the Hawks came back from a 22 point deficit and Joe Johnson buried a crucial 3-pointer with time running out... It doesn't get more depressing than that, lol.

What do you guys think of the Iverson trade?

New Orleans was and is our competition. I think we have the advantage in the paint, though.

I think the Rockets are a force to be reckoned with because of the Artest acquisition. Health is the issue...

I wierded out over the Iverson trade. It will be good for A.I. not to have to compete with 'Melo, but how will he and Rip mesh is the question...It makes the East better and Detroit much faster. Billups is back home, so it may be a good thing for him as well.

I can't stand Ron Artest. Ever since the Pacers-Pistons brawl. Plus, in my eyes, he's never really had a good sportmanlike attitude

I don't think they should have split up Hamilton and Billups. Somehow, they just made a great team together. I think they might not play that well when they are separated from each other.

You say "our" meaning the Lakers? Or just the NBA in general?

The Lakers. 4-0!!!

I agree with you re: Billups and Hamilton. Artest isn't the greatest person, but he's a great defender.

The sixers play tonight. They lost last night by more than 20 points. They're 2-3.
Oh, and the Rockets and the Hornets each lost a game too. The Lakers are still dominating though.

A Barn-Burner...

Celtics make last second-shot to beat unbeaten Atlanta in a rematch of last year's tense 7-game playoff series between the two.

The Celtics were up big, but lost their lead in the last minute of the 4th Quarter only to show true heart and championship form by knocking out a critical shot to close the deal.

I expect a war if both teams go into this yer's playoffs against each other!

Shame they lost that one. But don't worry, they'll go far.

My sixers won by 2, even after they were losing by 26 in the first quarter. The face Charlotte tonight.

I was impressed with Kobe's play last night. He played, dare I say it, selflessly, more like a team player and leader! Oooh, that hurt coming out!

LOL!!! He has a team around him now, so he doesn't have to score 40 a night. He's also out of Shaq's shadow, so that he has matured into the leader of his team. Guys like Farmar and Ariza have his work ethic in improving their game and he likes that. He also has a comrade in Gasol who he works very well with. They look like they have fun on and off the court.

KNICKS.

82 points by halftime. Chris Duhon 22 assists for Knicks all-time assists in a single game record.

What a scoring-fest!

That didn't happen, but they did succumb to the Pacers in a heart breaker that they should have dominated and got their tails kicked by the Kings!!! Gotta beat the Suns tonight...

ONE QUARTER OF SEASON OVER....

Thoughts?

Celtics and Cavs look unbeatable.

Lakers look strong, but shakey...How could they lose to Pacers and Kings??? of all teams?

Hornets look like they lack depth, despite being solid.

The Knicks and Nets are the two most suprising teams to me. Doing so well.

Yes, where does the time go? It's already a quarter finished.

Celtics won't claim another title this year.

Lebron James is playing so well, it's almost inhuman. It will be either him or Kobe who will win the mvp this year.

Lately the Lakers have not been playing totally up to par. But looking @ their schedule, they should win at least their next 3 games.

The 76ers have lost their third straight, and 5th straight at home. Elton brand has returned from a hamstring injury, and is not playing right. In my opinion, Maurice Speights needs a bigger role.

The most improved team this year should be the Bobcats. Under Larry Brown, they have thrived. Well, until they lost 5 straight

The Rockets are certainly making their affect on the league, w/ a record of 15-8. Maybe Tracy McGrady will finally advance past the first round of the playoffs this year.

I think the Lakers thought they could rebound as they have in other games. The Zen Master is also tinkering around with different lineups.

I'm just waiting for Christmas day. They'll play up to the challenge of the Celts. I agree that the Celts won't repeat. The Cavs may once again be in the finals. Kobe v. LeBron would be a great show! Of course, I wouldn't mind us rematching against the Green guys...
