This came up in the current events Forum, insofar as the acrimony between Christians when discussing politics. I'd like to know which you more clearly identify with.
(Yes, I know the definitions are from Wikipedia, but they seemed to be the most comprehensive [:D])

Your choices (please click on it to read the Wikipedia definition) -

>Liberal Christianity

>Dominionism

Sorry but I don't subscribe to your liberal wikipedia and its definition (or defamation) of conservative Christians.

However, other's might want to play your game.

Thank you for your acrimonious reply.[:D]
I would have thought that kind of attitude was pure dominionism, shows I need the poll to understand you folks!
Guess I should vote as well.

Sure no problem, so what else do you need to know? Maybe I can help you? Don't worry I used to think wikipedia was a valid source for information and truth at one time too.

car2ner -> RE: Belief system (9/3/2008 1:37:19 PM)

how about "some of each"?

Aside from the notion that I don't automatically see these terms as polar opposites, each has it's value in the decision making process. And I assume that each term has been misapplied now and then, regardless of the dictionary meaning.

Flesh out the reason for this thread and I might join in.

I voted Neither

I'm just of the older generation, a plain human-being who loves God with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength, and trys to love; at least do the best I know how in words and deeds, towards my fellowman; like I do towards myself; A person who cannot stand to see those who call themselves Christian attack and tear at each other like a bunch of wild animals just because they don't agree on some point of view.

Voted the same.
For the same reasons.
