A friend of mine from church is dead in a tragic accident. He leaves behind a widow and 3 kidlets. Please pray for his loved ones left behind.

I know he is soaring with Jesus right now. The LORD gives, the LORD takes, blessed be the Name of the LORD forever. +

Thank you. The memorial is this Friday and it looks like over 400 people will come. This man was an awesome man and the ministry he did touched many peeps. I hope somehow this gives some kind of comfort to the family somehow.

Only God can provide any real comfort or peace...He is father to the fatherless, husband to the widow. God reign down Your Mercy. AMEN.

Thank you for the life of this husband and father who touched many people in a positive way. Give this family great comfort and peace of mind as they make their way through this difficult time. Provide all that you see they will need and bless their future so that it will be a close, wonderful walk with you. We thank you and pray for them in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

We ask that you provide comfort & strength to the family now.
We ask that You bless them with everything needed to continue with life.

Precious Lord, we know You have a special love and concern for widows and the fatherless, so we lift up this family and ask You to fill the void as only You can, stretch out Your hand to comfort, guide and grant peace in their grief. Father, we also ask Your Spirit to encourage the local body to step in to support this family, love on them and meet their needs in a real and tangible way, that You may be praised and honored.

This is my prayer too.
Thank You Lord for all you will do for this family.
Thank you that they have the peace of knowing their loved one is now with you.

Blessed Lord, please look down with mercy upon the wife of captainfraulein's departed friend and their children. Lord, bless them in this tragic time in their lives. Watch over them and keep them from harm as they try and patch their lives back together. Help them learn to cling to one another for support, and also to learn to cling to you as you are the rock which all of us can grab onto during the storms of life. Lord God, please surround them with friends and other family members who will grieve with them and offer them support and moments of joy whenever possible. Let them all know that they are not alone, and keep them close to your heart. May they all be strengthened by this tragedy in their individual walks with you so they may continue to worship and glorify you for all time.

Also, Lord, please bless captainfraulein's departed friend. Bless him and welcome him into your holy kingdom where he can find rest and peace with you forever and ever.

The widow told me last night that "they have their good days and their low days" when I asked her about how the kidlets and her are doing. She said "Now is the hard part...after the Memorial". I told her I would be praying for years and I make that pledge. The prayers are really sustaining the family. The little 5 year old was smiling and darting in and out of the pews with loving families. The oldest wrote a beautiful song for her daddy on the program flyer. The middle child was running around afterwards with her friends.

The family is surrounded by loving believers and 2 of the men speaking have promised to look after the widow and her family.

It was obvious to me that God is really making sure this family will be cared for as the husband was called home with Jesus. It gave me much comfort to see that and made me proud to be a Christian.
