ORIGINAL: Miss Giggles Well if you go to calorieking.com or similar websites you'll find its pretty much an oxymoron at chain restaurants. Salads aren't always healthy either. However I do like the shrimp tacos from baja fresh. Seems to be about the healthiest thing you can get. Nooooo, don't ruin my false delusions....Salads aren't healthy? Also, I thought Wendy's was the healthiest of all burger chains? Hello Solomonsprayer, You will be surprised that some salads at restaurants are not at all that healthy. Some are calorie-fat bombs! Some are actually worse than a big mac at McDonald's believe it or not. If you want a salad at a restaurant, make sure the salad is just green vegetables, you can never trust them with their dressings and stuff. Where I get this information, go to menshealth.com and they have this Eat This, Not That! e-newsletter. It really opens your eyes up to the restaurant world. And they now have 2 books. One published for adults, one for kids. About Wendy's, yes they are the healthiest burger chain, but they are not nutritionally infallible. French Fries are always caloric and fatning. But what is nice about Wendy's is that they have baked potatoes which are a healthy alternative side. I hope this helps. As for me, I go to Subway when I have a craving. I don't go too often though, don't have the money for that. But they are a LOT healthier than many other restaurants out there. But be sure to stick to the 6 grams of fat or less menu, and do not go for the chips and soda pitfalls. Not all their subs are 6 grams of fat or less. Some of their subs are very fatning, like the Meatball sub, Tuna sub, or the Italian sub. And do not even think Quizno's is healthy. They are home to the worst sandwich in America. Your sister in Christ Jesus, Jessica
