_Cinderella_ -> RE: *~Fall Chat Thread ~* (9/4/2008 3:02:34 AM)

All day I have been thinking it is Thursday since Thursday is a better day for me than Wednesday.

fluffmonkey -> RE: *~Fall Chat Thread ~* (9/4/2008 10:10:22 AM)

I hate when that happens :/

MeganRenee -> RE: *~Fall Chat Thread ~* (9/4/2008 7:51:29 PM)

Work was really slow today, so I kind of feel like I never really woke up all the way...I doesn't help that it's rainy and cool outside. It's good snuggle up weather[:D]

fluffmonkey -> RE: *~Fall Chat Thread ~* (9/5/2008 10:06:57 AM)

sounds like good sleeping In weather lol

I am such a mix of emotions today and Im happy its friday

MeganRenee -> RE: *~Fall Chat Thread ~* (9/5/2008 12:03:36 PM)

Me too [sm=dance.gif] Yay Friday! However, this weekend will be spent dog sitting two enormous dogs...But I get paid, I get free food, and I get to sit in their hot tub with my book. It's worth a little drool and barking.

fluffmonkey -> RE: *~Fall Chat Thread ~* (9/5/2008 4:24:07 PM)

oooh sounds very nice, I used to love to read and take bubble baths But wow a hot tub sounds even better what relaxing weekend lol

ChiefWannahakaloogie -> RE: *~Fall Chat Thread ~* (9/5/2008 5:19:20 PM)

i cooked again yay.

and uhm. yeah thats it.

creatief -> RE: *~Fall Chat Thread ~* (9/5/2008 5:21:36 PM)

I do not like fall...

MeganRenee -> RE: *~Fall Chat Thread ~* (9/6/2008 9:51:16 AM)

The dogs woke me up at 2:30am and 6:30am. I just stayed up the second time. They're cutting into my sleepy time[:(]Plus one chewed the corner off of a blanket. I wonder if the hot tub is really worth it...I have a feeling the weekend won't be so relaxing!

lovestowrite -> RE: *~Fall Chat Thread ~* (9/7/2008 12:32:24 AM)

Hello all, I am new here. I love Autumn :)

Taking a hot bath with a good book is one of my most favourite things to do. :)

MeganRenee -> RE: *~Fall Chat Thread ~* (9/7/2008 6:58:41 PM)

Me too! I think I'll go take one now :) I slept a little better last night, hopefully tonight will be even better since it's back to work tomorrow. Then I get to sleep on my own bed tomorrow night, WooHoo!

fluffmonkey -> RE: *~Fall Chat Thread ~* (9/7/2008 11:23:20 PM)

Hi Lovestowrite! Welcome to the forums :)

MeganRenee, have you been sleeping better? I will be so happy to sleep in the morning (hopefully) lol

MeganRenee -> RE: *~Fall Chat Thread ~* (9/8/2008 1:13:41 PM)

I slept a little better last night, at least up until about 4:15am, when a thunderstorm rolled through and got the dogs riled up last night. I know tonight will be much better [:D] Did you get the sleep you were hoping for fluffmonkey?

Fine, except for the fact that I have been having tons of college homework?! And I thought they gave us a bunch of homework in high school?! Oh, yeah! And I landed a spot in our church's christmas musical "For Unto Us A Son Is Given", so AWESOME!! I get to be in the choir of angels![sm=angel.gif] (Suiting, since I am one![sm=angelhalo.gif]Just Kidding!!) Hope everyone has a totally stellar rest of the day!

MeganRenee -> RE: *~Fall Chat Thread ~* (9/8/2008 3:16:22 PM)

Congrats on the spot in your Christmas musical! Last year, in our kids Christmas play, I was an "Elly May Clampett" style hillbilly girl. Only, when I sang The First Noel, I was supposed to sing it really off-key. I certainly didn't sound like an angel[:D]

And I don't envy you the college homework! I'm glad I'm done with that. (At least until I start my masters[sm=icon_smile_faint.gif])

Don't remind me! I'm just a freshman, I still have so long to go![sm=popsigh.gif]

And thanks for the congrats on my part, I'm still shocked I got one! I tried out because a couple of my guy friends wouldn't get off my case until I did!(For once, it was a good thing to take their advice?! Only happens to turn out that way 1 out of a 100 times![:D])

fluffmonkey -> RE: *~Fall Chat Thread ~* (9/8/2008 5:51:55 PM)

jesuschick247 -> RE: *~Fall Chat Thread ~* (9/8/2008 5:54:20 PM)

Physical Science, Math, English 101, Introduction to Theatre, and College 101 it all averages in at 16 hours! I'm a teaching major, I love teaching!

fluffmonkey -> RE: *~Fall Chat Thread ~* (9/8/2008 6:03:38 PM)

So what kind of teacher do you want to be? or age group would you like to work with?

I was an education major too [:D] I'm teaching at a middle school right now. I thought the general ed classes were the worst, but when I really got into my major classes it was a lot better. There's still a lot of work, but if you really love teaching it's a lot more interesting. Hang in there! It's really worth it. Do you know what level you want to teach or what your emphasis will be yet?

I really love teaching drama, it is something I am very passionate about, so it's easy for me to teach to others. I have to teach something besides that and I'm leaning towards either science or english, not sure yet! I would like to teach middle-school or high school age. I love little kids, but I don't really know if I want to be teaching that age group. I'm looking into doing the extra classes required to teach high school on line, kind of planning ahead for the future. I want to stay at home with my kids,(when I get married and have some, probably several years away![8D]) and so teaching on line looks like a very nice option. Anyway, I have to go to my Theatre class here in a little bit, so I better wrap this up! You guys have a really great day!
