It doesn't seem right that it should be the first of September already.

I have a cold now. Everyone else has taken their turn (DH, pastor, kids at school)...guess I'm next.

HAPPY LABOR DAY!!!!

Summer is too short! It will be 90 degrees this whole week but the pool closes today

We always have an "indian summer" in October too where its 85 degrees. Then it starts getting cooler.

Hi guys! Do you mind if I join in this chat? I have been waiting for the beginning of the month so that I didn't feel like I was clueless.

A cold already? Oh no...I'm not ready for that. I'm still traumatized by last year's flu outbreak. DH had to go to the hospital.

I am ready for a change...the structure of school, schedules, cooler weather.

I'm also looking for to the fair, harvest festivals, and a new crop of apples.

(I'm in Washington)

Welcome, Mrs.Tracy! Jump in any time :)

Hi all! Trish, I'm glad you get to have the first day of spring, today!
Tracy, I'm glad you joined the thread this month.

Fluff monkey, glad you started the thread!

Kerry and Souzk, glad you are looking forward to fall!

daughter of fatih, and JJB, you both might be interested to know that we have a good homeschool support folder, and a good private and public school support folder here.

If I missed anybody, hi!

I had decided this morning that I was going to try and keep up with Women only chat, Singles chat, Homeschool chat, and private and public school chat, but I'm starting to think that may be too much, especially on top of my PFY folder. Plus I was thinking about keeping up with the chat thread in community lounge.

Hey Y'all--I am DivaB and I am sort of in and out of the women's chat. I work and I am involved with church and a Community Bible Study group so not a lot of time to be in any of the forums. I have 2 children of the furry four legged feline category. Hope to keep up with y'all.

I so cannot wait for winter to come. It is so stinkin hot in the kitchen! It doesn't help that the hood above the flat top (grill) barely works and fills up the dining room with smoke.

Nicole, is there any way to quickly get the hood working the way it was supposed to?

Introductions? Um, ok.

*Trish steps forward and clears her throat.*

My name is Trish and I'm a huggaholic and a chocoholic. I'm single, and have one furry little boy named Bailey. He's a spoodle. (Spaniel/poodle cross). I also love doing random acts of kindness as the Lord leads. Thankyou.

*Trish curtsies then steps back.*

I'm having some serious anxiety attacks lately. :(

I had one today and I was supposed to talk to my professor after class.... had the anxiety attack in class but tried to control it (that worked for years but doesn't work much anymore)...so I guess I'll try to talk to him Thursday (the next time that class meets). Ugh. I wonder what my anxiety attack on Thursday will be like.

I hope everyone's doing better than I am.

No, no date. They wont tell us anything really until we get a call that says "bring the car seat and plan to stay a few days on your next visit...you are going to 2K (the unit before coming home where you stay over)." Pretyt much his only "obstacles" right now is...eating orally, and gaining enough weight to end up in an open crib and keep his own body temp up and stuff, and his heart rate drops (but he can go home while having those just on a monitor).

Hi Tami, sorry about the anxiety attacks. I miss you in Singles. I tried to pm you, but your box is full.

Erin, I hope the baby gets better soon.

Ugh, I'm having a hard time getting to sleep at night. I don't like it.
