Our son left for college today and he should have called long ago to say he was there. He left about 12 hours ago and it is less than a 6 hour trip. Maybe it is just a problem with his phone but I can't get a hold of his girlfriend at her house either. Please pray we hear from him. Thanks. (changed subject line!) Update below. Thanks for the prayers.

Dear Heavenly father I pray for Caseys son. Lord if he is just distracted or has some other need I pray you will help him. May it be on his heart to call home and ease his mothers fears and concerns. I pray Lord that he is safe and will reach out soon in some way. Be with Casey Lord and give her peace. Lord I pray you will be in the midst of this and help all concerned In Jesus name Amen

Thank you both (and any who prayedl). I finally just got a hold of him at his girlfriends-- they had been out to a late dinner and his cell was dead, and he didn't think of calling from her house. Kids! (sheeesh!) Sigh.... Thank you Lord. Well as long as I've started this thread please also say a prayer for him at his college. It is Christian but has grown quite liberal since I/we went there...and I'm afraid this may be having an affect on him too. Thanks.

Thank you Sparkle. (That's a nice name btw..... :)) Maybe this little mishap happened so I'd ask prayer for him in his coming and final year there.....If you think of it please pray for his roommates too. One is an atheist....that's all I'll say about him here except that he needs the Lord.

Lord, be with Caseyp57's son. I pray You would strengthen his faith that he would not be led astray. I pray You would fill him with discernment that he would be quick to recognize truth from deception. Fill him with Your power and annointing. Help him to be a strong and effective witness to his roomates. I pray for his roomates now, that You would help them to see the difference in Caseyp57's son's life and that Your spirit would begin to draw them closer to You through her son. Open their eyes, Lord, that they might see their need for You. in Jesus name, amen
