I am a christian and try to serve our Lord the best I can. With that said, I have a 2 questions to pose to everyone. I trust people will answer with a yes or a no. 1) Can God's creation exsist without science? 2) Can science exsist without God's creation? Please read carefully because I said God's creation. I didn't say God.

Ignostic here, so I'm probably not your target audience, but I'll answer anyways.

1) Yes. Science is the empirical investigation into the workings of nature. Nature can exist without this investigation.
If you're asking whether nature can exist without the laws and principles that science has discovered (gravity, electromagnetism, etc...) then no. The laws that govern nature are the reason that nature looks as it does. If they were different, it could not exist, or would exist in a very different form.

2)Science can not exist without the natural world. It is the investigation of the natural world. If nature didn't exist, then neither could science (or any form of animal life...).

Thank you for responding real_solitude. My target audience is anyone who is open for discussions. The main reason I came to this forum was to listen to people's views with the intention of understanding and learning. While science and theology have been parallel with one another, I think there will be a time when they intersect.
With that said, unless I listen and attempt to understand anothers points of view, I will gain nothing. When I gain nothing, I'm no further than I was yesterday.
The more I learn, the more I realize how much I don't know. Take care Solitude and I look forward to talking with you.

Hey, rTribe, welcome to the forum. I agree with Real Solitude on his answers. Since science is the observation of God's creation, science cannot exist without it. Otherwise what would we observe? If God had chosen to make it in another way, well then science may still exist provided we still have the capacity to observe it.

Can God's creation exist without science? Sure! But the creation seems to be very well suited both for life and for discovery. Just the simple fact that our atmosphere is oxygen dissolved in nitrogen makes it very well suited for life and for seeing the universe at night.

I know this is kinda off topic, but I wasn't sure where else to post it (didn't think it's worth a new thread).
