This may not be a typical "comforting/hopeful" song, but Storm the Gates of Hell by Demon Hunter fits the bill for me. My favorite line: "Hell hath no fury at all." 
There's nothing wrong with you finding hope or comfort in that style of music, God can speak to our heart in different ways. If you are able to get something that helps you through by listening to Demon Hunter, then that's great. I'm sure they would appreciate knowing that this particular song of theirs encouraged you.

I've actually heard it, I still prefer Jeremy Camp's. (I just love the way it sounds, personal opnion I guess!!)

Yes!! The concert was SUPER SWEET!!!! (Especially since Jamie(the drummer) remembered me from when we saw them in March! That was pretty cool!)
The song Yours by Steven Curtis Chapman is also very comforting!

*giggles* he does write music, normally on his saxaphone though! (he can sort of play the piano, he's teaching himself and won't admit it, but he's getting really good!)
