We want fast, accurate and automatic 911 service, so we're keeping our land line.

I noticed that when you leave Mabell phone company that sometimes they will send you special offers to woo you back. My old phone company did that just today. I haven't decided if I will take them up on their offer or not yet though.

I'm with AT&T. My phone bill is $26.80 per month for my land line AND DSL. I don't think I can do better with it any other way.

Geeesh...that's great! I am in the Verizon area and just the base price for local, no long distance service, is $35/mo. I used to have AT&T and they killed me with their prices. Where did you say you lived that AT&T only charges $26.50 for both land line and DSL? That I have to look up to believe. I know we pay extra here in California for everything but that's incredible.

I have 911 service set up with my Vonage. I own my house so I don't move around too often that it would be a factor.

Comcast might be worth looking into also.
