Early Thanksgiving, Meg?

Well, Honeysuckle White turkeys were on sale for $.48 a pound, and you can't feed a family much cheaper than that. They are $.39 a pound this week so I need to go get another one or two. The kids won't mind eating that meal again two weeks later.

Tonight is leftovers because I can't fit anything else in the fridge. There's pork chops and sweet potatoes left from last night and pot roast with carrots and potatoes left from the night before. I will probably make a green vegetable or salad to go with it since I don't have those left over. If I have time when I get home from work I will pick some mustard and turnip greens from the garden and cook those.

Tonight it's Navajo Nachos from Dos Coyotes, one of my favorite local cafes.

It's Tortilla chips with black beans, melted cheese, salsa, guacamole & sour cream and grilled steak. Very yummy :)

Roasted vegetables. Icecream for dessert.
