We were picking black raspberrys (an annual family outing), with lots of sticks, and pokes, and ouches. And suddenly I thought, if there are black raspberrys in heaven, I bet they won't have thorns. It made me think about how even all the little things we have to put up with here on earth won't be a problem in heaven. No problems, no pain, no suffering. Oh what a great God we have!

Or perhaps 'thorns' won't poke or cause us to go 'ouch' because WE'VE changed. That's what I'm counting on---no more me.[:)]

Bless you, ss! We do have a great God and black raspberries are one of His best edible creations. We have wild ones growing all around our property but this year there weren't more than a few handfuls. I usually get to freeze a bunch for winter time desserts.[sm=frown.gif]

Good point! Part of God's Curse to Adam was that the earth would bear thorns, and the Curse will be totally undone by time we get to Heaven.

Where I come from we also have many beautiful thorny raspberry bushes, plus saskatoon berries, blueberries, chokecherries and crops of many kinds. However this year not to many of us are to worried about the thorns on them bushes because there`s not much picking going on of any kind these days. The reason is our part of the country was blessed, or should I say cursed with lots of that icey stuff called hail this year. Like thorns, I hope this too will be another curse God will remove when we get to heaven.
