Well i'm not far from MaestroSC, so I guess we have lots of concerts around. I just don't get out to see as many as i'd like.

Well it's not Alabama. To have been the home of the Quartet Convention for a short while and the Wally Fowler All Night Sings for years we don't get many concerts anymore.

I would think Murfeesboro (sp?) Tennessee would be a hot spot. Thats where a lot of groups record at.

Howdy yourself neighbor! I am about 20 miles from Tabor and have lots of family in the Tabor area, my mom was from the Sandy Plain area as well!

Olive Baptist Church in Bolivia, August 22nd the Dove Brothers were at my church June 10th and will be in Lumberton in September, Singing in the sun is a three day event in April, Gaither is there in October or November again this year, Crabb family was in Holden Beach July, just to name a few events that take place.....wish you could get 100.9 in Fairmont on FM, also 1070 or 1040 in Wilmington is good. I generally listen to wfgw.org on the computer most of the time, a great station from the Asheville Black mountain area started by the Grahams! God bless!

you live in whiteville? youll have to PM your name to me.
I actually live in the Tabor City Chadbourn Suburbs in a village called Beaverdam. :)
we just got running water last week, and look forward to electricity coming in the near future.

I live in Graham, NC. It's a little east of Greensboro.
And I can promise that the center of SG is nowhere near here.

well i began to write this as a joke but then realized how true it may be but the center of SG music right now is probably wherever the Gaither's are this weekend. As much good as it did for SG music in the 90s especially for the older acts it has kinda in my opinion consolidated everything into one. Dont get me wrong i still enjoy the groups that are featured on it but with the amount of groups that travel with Bill it would naturally cut down on the amount of concerts around as a whole.

Welcome, KHJ0787!!
I'm thinking I'm in a pretty good spot (north of Atlanta). Let's see --- this weekend I have a concert on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Next weekend, I have two - one on Saturday and one on Sunday and then I'll go to one day of the World Premier. September, even without counting NQC, is looking very busy every weekend, too. All of these concerts are within 4 hours' drive from my house. I'm so BLESSED!!!!!!
