Is their a Biblical movie that has always stuck with you in your thoughts? My favorite christian movie is The Greatest Story Ever Told. What is yours?

Biblical movie, The Ten Commandments.

Non-Biblical Christian movie, Brother Sun, Sister Moon.

Hands-down, Ben Hur. Hollywood could make 'em like that in those days, before the PC crowd got so powerful.

Right on its heels, Signs.

Ten Commandments

The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe if that counts.

Also, Facing the Giants.

I agree with both of those movies!

Christian as in made by. produced by, and starring only Christians? They haven't made a decent one yet.

Christian as in a Christian theme? The Robe, The Greatest Story Ever Told, The Ten Commandments, Spartacus, Ben Hur.

John Candy's Delirious. What happens when the author shows up inside his literary creation? See this movie for some excellent reasons why Jesus adopted a low-key cameo role. Although He created all things, He did not throw His weight around and flaunt his special powers. Jesus leaves our personalities intact, rather than forcing us to act "out of character."

All the Tyler Perry movies, The Jeanette Oake based Hallmark films, The Chronicles of Narnia duo, One Night With the King, The Gospel, and Facing the Giants.

I like the Tyler Perry movies too.

The Gift.

Unless you count Veggietales. :)

I just watched this past weekend. The Last Sin Eater. It was a great movie. Stayed pretty true to the book. I really like anything by Michael Landon Jr.

I really enjoyed The End of the Spear. Just made some nephews and niece watch it too. It has some violence in it, be forewarned if you have kidlets around.

I also enjoyed Facing the Giants. It is a bit cheesy but a really enjoyable film. It was really well done and a powerful message.

Jhud -> RE: What was your favorite christian movie ? (8/28/2008 1:14:04 PM)

Currently, Amazing Grace.

Caitlin-Emily -> RE: What was your favorite christian movie ? (8/29/2008 1:05:16 PM)

Amazing Grace is currently my favorite movie I never really learned in detail about what went on during this time in England.

I also like Facing the Giants it has a great message about facing your fears and other issues christians face in life.

Glory Road is another one dealing with racism and it has Josh Lucas in it.[sm=wink.gif]

I like Rock Climbing so

"The Climb" was one of the best for me. [:D]

uncabeeil -> RE: What was your favorite christian movie ? (8/29/2008 2:21:48 PM)

The Climb wasn't bad. Nice scenery at least. But very predictable, not very well written, and of course everybody lives happily after like all Christians do. [8|]
