Whatever's on sale- not picky[8D]

Though Blue Bunny in the plastic tubs has some awesome flavors and tends to 'hold up' better on the trip home... I love their Fudge Nut Sundae and their Bordeaux Black Cherry- they also have a good Straw. Cheesecake...

Black Cherry with Dark Chocolate (Dove's is good too) is my fave

Breyers. I love the fact that I can understand what all the ingredients are in most of the flavors. Nothing but homemade tastes like Breyers.

Bryers and Kirkland (Costco). Both are made with simple ingredients that I can pronounce and don't have to look up to make sure they won't kill me. [;)]

I like Bluebell Homemade Vanilla, and their pecan praline flavor. Haagen Daz dulce le leche is the best, but too expensive for regular consumption.

A long long time ago Thrifty drug store (now Rite-Aide) used to have their own brand of ice cream and they were my favorite.
Now, I'm not picky, but Ben and Jerry's Chunky Monkey is to die for.
We have Guernsey ice cream here also. They're pricey but they are so good. And of course Coldstone is a favorite.

Ben & Jerry's really stomps all over everybody else. It's not even a fair fight. Oatmeal Cookie Chunk should have won somebody a Nobel Prize for Chemistry.

That said, our local grocery store chain, Stop & Shop, has some store brand gelato that is REALLY good. IMO, their coconut gelato is better than both of Haagaen Daz' varieties (the sorbet and the coconut sesame ice cream) that cost 2x as much. The berry gelato is pretty nuts, too.

I remember when Ben and Jerry's was taking baby steps out of Vermont. I lived in NH at the time so shipping to us was fairly easy. So not only does it taste wonderful but for me it is nostalgic.

For me, that depends on the flavor. Ben and Jerry's is the only brand that has Chubby Hubby. But I love a really rich and creamy Butter Pecan. Any brand is fine as long as it is good.

I pretty much like anything but the really cheapo stuff that comes in the cardboard box. Safeway Select (store brand) is probably my favorite less expensive brand. And, Hagen Daaz is my all time favorite. I used to go to Double Rainbow, but they closed down.

Breyers, it's the only all natural, no fillers out there. I don't know what guar gum is, but I do know I don't want it in my ice cream!
