My mom just emailed me this; she was there on the trip. Do we automatically act the cynic or do we praise God for the miracle? What say you?

Being Spirit-filled for the last thirty-five years, I rejoice in God's miraculous provision for those people. Plus I have to chuckle at His sense of humor...KFC!

But I expect the heresy hunters will be along pretty soon to condemn it.

Not at all. But I do believe if there was a miracle of this magnitude the vendor would be the first to say "They only ordered enough to feed x, I brought this amount, and there was enough meals to feed y." Given the culture maybe those that came shared their meals to cover the shortfall.
