well Bama showed them all.

SamsonUSA, dont doubt the SEC. the pac 10 will be swubpar until you have more than 2 teams with a powerhouse way of playing. USC and on occasion Cal just wont prove nothing to me. SEC, Big 12, they have so many powerhouse teams.

BAMA 10-0

Well Bama pulled it out, and Florida leads 35-0 at the half. Maybe we'll have a Florida - Alabama showdown in Atlanta. With Penn State losing, things are getting interesting.

BAMA did indeed pull it out! Roll Tide!!

Florida looks awfully strong and getting stronger. Bama will definately have their hands full, but we can't overlook Miss St. and Auburn. Definately don't want to go into the Championship game on a losing note.

Roll Tide Roll!!!!

Horns looked sluggish and then went on a rampage. Hook'em!!!

How about that Baylor fresh. QB?? He is gonna be outstanding!

The Texas Tech offense was a scoring machine one more time. Couldn't tell the difference when the soph. QB went in the game. WOW!

I'm saying the BCS Natl. Championship game will be Big 12 champ vs. SEC champ.

Don't be surprised if they have 2 other teams facing off in one of the other BCS bowls.

It should be that way in the Championship game. Fortunately, USC had some trouble this weekend. That should prevent an atrocity from happening...

Go Oklahoma--beat the Raiders!

Hook 'em!

SEC will have the team and Big 12 the other. Florida is at the moment the strongest team in football and Bama one of the last unbeatens. that says something. the Big 12 has the rest of the powerhouses in the nation.

isnt it funny how the conferences with just one decent team are falling by the wayside ((( Pac 10, acc, big 10)) while the solid powerhouse conferences are up there.
heck the BCS games this year should be SEC against Big 12 cause rest of nation cant hold a candle.

Penn State loses in Iowa, and the only unbeatens are TTU, Ball State, Boise State and Alabama. The Red Raiders gotta beat the Sooners

The USC offense was pretty mistake prone against Cal, but a win is a win. The Trojan secondary was knocking the Cal receivers out of their cleats!!

Looking forward to that Florida-Alabama game on December 6th!

It was a good game though! And my dad decided the Gators might not be all that bad...

I still like that song "He'll Roll You Over The Tide" ! Seriously, I don't trivialize my prayers with football games. I will ask for the players safety. I do think if the Gators and Bama win out, this is going to be the best SEC championship game ever, maybe even better than the national championship game, whoever gets there. I still am not minimizing the chances of either Florida or Alabama losing a game before the SEC, but it has been determined that they will both be there. Where they play after that will be determined by other factors.
I am still pulling for Tim Tebow to win the Heisman Trophy! After seeing his performance at Vanderbilt, I think he has a real chance.

I agree Paul. I pray for the safety opf the players because that is first and foremost. I am a diehard Bama fan. heck my regular email begins with bama. lol. but their safety is of the most importantance. I also agree the SEC title game will be the game of the year. forget Texas/TT. that was a joke. good game but TT fell apart second half. they owned Texas the entire first half.

Jesuschick. I may hate the school of Florida errr dislike them. but I am a Tebow fan. I respect Chrsitian athletes and follow their careers.

back to you Paul. tebow is a long long longshot for a heisman. he may win it next year if he returns but this year the best QB's are big 12.

I agree that the majority of the really good quarterbacks are in the Big 12 this year, but when you look at the all around aspect, I still believe Tim Tebow is the best. His passing stats may not be there, but they probably coould be if that is what Forida focused on. When you consider the number of outstanding running backs that Tebow has to utilize, he doesn't need to pass that much. Again when all aspects of the position is considered, ie, leadership and respect from fellow players and coaches, running ability, decision making, toughness (mental and physical), and knowledge of the game, I believe Tim comes out ahead. Of course Tims personal character is another quality that comes into play. I'm not saying the other quarterbacks don't have these characteristics, but I believe Tim Tebow is in front.

I hope Tebo gets the Heisman! But I'm pulling for the Tide to roll the Gators on out to sea. But I don't pray for a win.

It seems to me that Texas has the easiest path to the BCS title game.

This may be true, but the other team should be either Florida or Alabama, and there"s nothing easy about that. To get there they have to win out in the SEC and then play each other. It's true that they have each secured their place in the SEC playoff, but Florida has to defeat "the old ball coach" with South Carolina, and Florida State to have a chance at BCS. Alabama still has Auburn and I'm not sure who else. Auburn hasn't done well this year, but the record goes out the window when these two meet, as it does with Florida/Florida State.

I agree. The last two touchdowns were with the backup quarterback and lots of subs in for the Gators. This is the third week in a row that the team we played had not allowed more than 24 points in any one game this season. Vandy and SC also had the top rated defenses in the SEC. I will say, the SC defense can not be blamed for the first three touchdowns today, as they came on turnovers. That and the fact that SC's only scores were two feild goals kind of says something about the Gators defense, doesn't it? Looking forward to Bama, but not discounting FSU!

It seems to me that Texas has the easiest path to the BCS title game.

Easy? Texas played Missouri then Oklahoma then Oklahoma State then Texas Tech (I think that's the correct order)--four straight weeks of tough games. Just last week, four of these five teams were ranked in the top ten. Currently, all five teams are ranked in the top 13 of the BCS.

If Oklahoma doesn't beat Tech next weekend, then Texas doesn't go to the title game.

If Oklahoma does beat Tech, then Texas is at the mercy of the BCS standings. Also, they would still have to win the Big 12 championship game, more than likely another game against Missouri.

The Big 12 is similar to the SEC in that both conferences have great football teams that love to destroy each other. Nothing easy about that. :)

Amen and Amen again.

How bout those Horns!?! Hook'em!
How bout that Crimson Tide?!!? Roll Tide Roll!!!

I may get my BCSchampionship game yet. It will be extremely hard to pull for Oklahoma to beat Tech, BUT if it will give the Horns the BIG 12 south then I'm okay with it.

Bama "Must" not look past the Iron Bowl against Auburn. They have to go into the SEC champ game on a winning note. Florida will an extremely difficult game. But Bama has proven they can score with offense, defense and special teams. Amazing what Saban has done in just his 2nd season.

his second season at the tide. dont forget though he has a national title while at LSU so he does know how to coach.

He does have another impressive recruiting class coming if all goes according to plan. is a back coming from Pensacola that to say is one of the elite to ever come from high school is an understatement. from what have researched, half the games this year is over 400 yards of offense by this tailback. youtube has videos of him. last name Richardson.

yes I do believe Alabama will be a powerhouse that the country will fear for at least 4-5 more years if not more. maybe by then they will figure out to not idolize Ohio St or USC so much and respect the true powerhouse teams not the ones where is nothing else in the conference worth playing
