Lord, I lift up to you the young mother and her two young sons...whose husband and daddy died of leukemia two days ago. The young daddy is with You now, whole and free, and so I pray for his family to know Your amazing love, peace, comfort, healing, rest... And, please help with all the details and arrangements that always follow a loved one's passing. May You be this family's All in all. Amen.

Lord be with this mother and her children as they come to terms with their loss.
Help them each according to their needs Lord.
Help them to grieve and heal the pain they are feeling right now.
Lord I pray you will provide for them and give them peace and comfort in the weeks ahead.
Thank you Lord for all you are about to do.
Embrace them in your love Lord and help them to go forward with you in their lives.

God, please watch over this woman and her boys who have lost their husband/father. Grant them peace and courage whle facing the coming challenges ahead of them. Give them strength, and help them to hold fast to one another for suppport and love in their time of need, as well as afterwards. Surround them with friends and family who can help to lighten their load, and remind them that You are always with them, too, Lord.

Also, please welcome the husband/father into your kingdom. His suffering is now over on this Earth. Please watch over him and grant him eternal rest with you in Heaven. We ask all of this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Beloved Savior.

Please comfort them and get them through these next few painful days, weeks, months..
I just ask for a hedge of protection over them and just bring them comfort and peace through
friends and family members Lord...

Thanks to you all for your sweet prayers. I don't know this family. The young mom is a teacher at the private Christian school my friend owns, and I haven't heard how the young family's doing...but they are believers surrounded by many, many friends in Christ. I trust your prayers have deeply touched them by God's good work.

Lord Jesus we thank you for the plans that you have for your creation, and we praise you for you are the Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and Prince of Peace. We ask Lord Jesus that you bring to our sister-in-Christ good Christian friends who she can trust and that are willing to stand with her in this new season in her life, to help her care for her children, and to be her network of support; give her the mental, physical, emotional, spiritual, financial, and relational strength to carry on with you looking after her. We ask these petitions based on the promises of your Holy Word, that they be done in the power of your Holy Spirit, in your good will and timing, and to the Glory of your Kingdom.
