quote:
Today I noticed that I have recognizes my bitterness that is in my heart. This took some time to come to grips with. It was the feeling that kept me from excepting Jesus. This has been a life changing experience! It is a battle that I will struggle with every day. At first is had me ashamed and discussed in myself. But now I think before I react and wow the outlook is much better. I do not understand why did I not here anything about Bitterness before. Why did it take so long to have this change in ones life? This is a major issue in ones life and to have lived with this for so long and have it in my sole has me very upset. I did not go to a shrink and have my life picked apart and rethought out. It was from reading the Bible and listening the radio that opened up my heart. I pray that one day I can talk to someone and tell them how my life was changed and that by excepting Jesus this gift can and will by yours also. But I can't until I know the Bible better. But one day I will go and help someone that was suffering like I was and help that person remove this from his life and feel peace and joy take over. I can not put in words how much this has effected the people I know and my family especially my wife. Next to God she is the most important person in this world. Wonderful testimony! Hallelujah! Our God reigns! In another thread I just posted Hebrews 4:12, For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing to the division of soul and spirit, joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart. Your testimony is to the living reality of the WORD. Amen. Thank you. Yes, this is what God through the working of the Holy Spirit and His word can and desires to do in each one of us. . . day in and day out. Bless you. And as Jesus spoke to Peter after his denial and turning back, you will use this to strengthen your brothers (and sisters). We tend to be confused about this. . . thinking it is our 'good'ness that is our testimony. No, it is our 'bad'ness and God's mercy, love and power to us that is our testimony. Thanks for sharing what He is doing in you with us! [:)] LL
