ORIGINAL: KuKu In ministry, several times[&:] It's hard to be taken seriously if you aren't- like brains are only given out to the guys... Other than that, and the most stated reason here[;)], not really... This has frustrated me at times. I had a particular professor in Bible college whom I felt really disrespected me. When I spoke, he made me feel like an idiot or tried to blow it off, or responded in sarcastic tones, because I was a girl. [&:][:@] Still gets under my skin to this day and that was years ago . . . . . . And then funnily enough, a few of my female classmates and I attended a Calvinism/Arnminianism Seminar for our Systematic Theology class, and an old man in the seminar went on and on about how impressed and surprised he was to see these young ladies sitting there listening. [8|][&:] Turned out to be that particular professor's father. LOL!!! Sheesh. Dur. As if it were such a challenge to us. [8D]
