I too had a restless night when I couldn't sleep, and turned on the TV and saw one of his infomercials. I watched a little bit, because I remember his ads in Charisma magazine in the late 80's early 90's, when I was caught up in some false doctrine.

Anyway, I turned the channel when they showed a clip of one of his meetings. He was standing at the podium with his hands raised, looking upward. That quote may have been started by Rev. Ike, but it was directed to Ben Jordan in the clip on his infomercial.

Right, exactly. I believe ol' Ike is sort of a "mentor" to Jordan.
