HELLO LADIES.

I am not sure, but I don't think I've even posted in this thread this month. What a month it has been, and we are only five days into it. Argh! It has already been very busy and SUPER stressful.

Do any of you have a household planner/binder? I have read about them in several places...basically a three ring binder...and you put things in it about meal planning, bills, cleaning, chores, etc. I am going to start one tonight. Only doing one section at a time, and might not even get that one finished, but I'm going to try. I need something to be "My Brain" so that when mine fails, at least I have something to fall back on. LOL

Haven't caught up on all the posts yet, but I'm glad to at least get back in here now and say hey to you all. :)

Rachel - That is so cool that your mom was on television!

Canada - I am clueless to some degree, but I live in Georgia which is far, far, far away from Canada.

I finally took a picture of my haircut: NEW HAIR DO. I am starting to like it the more I play around with it and style it myself. I feel much better with shorter hair for some reason though. With longer hair it never seemed to hold a style and it always felt stringy if that makes sense. Plus, its nice to not
have hair falling all over when trying to do something.

Awesome!!! I've had that exact same hairdo before! You look so good! Man, I think I've only ever seen a picture of you once and it was smaller so I've never really known how you look. You be purdy! VERY purdy!

Thank you, ladies...y'all are too kind!

Majority of people say he looks like my hubby, but still I hear he looks like me now and again.

Congrats on a new kitchen! That is my dream one day...

Chelle, that hairstyle is just perfect for you. You've got to keep that stylist, she did a great job.

And yes, Hunter does look like you.

I've never been able to find a cut I like with my hair. It's just so fine and flat and strait. No body whatsoever, and it gets stringy very quickly. When I've been to the salon, stylists make it look decent by teasing it 1986 style. That just isn't healthy for everyday wear, and my hair still falls flat after an hour. After it falls flat, it just looks so frizzy like it's obviously been teased.

I've actually been researching hair styles lately, trying to find something I think will work with my face shape. I think it's a shame to be 27 years old and never have had a good style. At least I like my color and don't have to spend money on highlights or dyes!

Chelle, I love your hair! You are so pretty too, I've never seen your pic before.

Sarah, I didn't know all those were considered territories. I knew about Puerto Rico, but I thought it was an unofficial state or something.

Lexie, that's a cute tag line...my hubby (being an Economist himself) would have to take issue with it though...Economics is really the study of human behavior.

We get a huge kick out of it in our house! Dh was an Economics major and none of it makes sense to me when he talks about it...and of course he just looks extremely confused when anyone in my family speaks Dutch...he's convinced it's not a real language!

Chelle - I love your hairdo! That's what I've been thinking about doing with mine! (I want to go really short, under my chin actually but I'm trying to get up the gusto to do it.)

Christina - territories have to do with the extra land when the provinces joined together to become Canada. They have a different type of government than the provinces (local matters are actually under the jurisdiction of the federal government technically.) In 1999, a third territory, which is Nunavut, joined Canada.

Hilary - I have a household planner. It's not a binder, just a file folder. I keep a list of bills (when they're due, when they're paid, how much), a spending list, my meal plans, my grocery lists and receipts in there. I change it each month. It's helped me stay organized, and has been a time saver. Once the kids are older and the house needs more organization (chores for example) I'll keep a bulletin board for stuff like that. I downloaded some great templates from A Virtuous Woman Check out the Household Planner on the left side...maybe that will help you get your binder organized quicker.

Yo- What's Kraft Dinner? May I call you "Yo?" Let me know if that's offensive to you!!

Rach- I just love Mona and it was such a treat to see her!! She has been such an encouragement to me in eating healthy. Thanks for sharing that!!

Sure you can call me Yo! It's a common nickname for me around here actually. That or Yo-Yo.
Kraft Dinner is KD, or Kraft Macaroni and Cheese...you know the straight noodles in a blue box, with a packet of cheese powder...Wow, do you guys not have it down there? I thought it was from the states!

That's cool Rach (sorry I am going to call you that from now on, hope that's ok)

Brandy, you are a good girl, taking the fans apart like that! We have 10 ft ceilings, I was trying to clean mine the other day, what a sight it would of been me walking around the fan with the vaccuum trying to catch the blades! LOL

We have that Kraft macaroni and cheese here too, never had it before though.

I found the coolest site *ever.* Check out tipnut.com I spent entirely too much time reading it. There's some cool stuff on there!!

Brandy - sorry your mom is gone! I know how you feel!! (although I have my sister here now...) But there's something special about MOM! When do you get to see yours again?

I found Sweet Coconut Thai Chai tea this afternoon. I've had two cups already. It's SO yummy!
I also picked up Chamomile tea for Wesley's gas. It has worked wonderfully.

Awww, how long was she with you? Yeah.... fans get pretty nasty hey? Yuckers! I told my mom today that when we have a baby she may have to come on a few vacations with us to be his/her nanny. She was more than happy to do that! I also told her that she may have to stay with us for a while when I need my mommy. Again she sounded quite happy with the idea. I am glad!

Yo- We have it. We commonly call it Kraft Mac and Cheese, not Kraft Dinner. Around here it's served as a side item unless you are a child. Most adults don't consider it a complete dinner, but it appears as a dinner on children's menus at restaurants. Dh hates when I serve it as a "meat..." I can just imagine what he would say about having it as the entire dinner! I make mine homemade and love to have it as a complete lunch leftover.

Jess- I have had Harney's Bangkok Tea before. It sounds similar- green tea with lemongrass and coconut?

I posted in H&G last night, but it had been at least a year before that. I post a lot in the SG folder and in a few PFY threads.
