Australian Chocolate?! I want some!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Christina - Thanks for saying so. I guess it is a good thing because that means I CAN get pregnant, right? I am just dreading getting my period. I hope it isn't terrible. It's been nice being period free for over a year! lol My mom is harping on me to get on BC. She doesn't understand why we refuse and are in more of a 'quiverful' mindset. Oh well.

Oh and sarah - to sum it up for you - I guess I took an OVULATION test on accident. So at that very moment I was ovulating. Can I say RANDOM?! I'm still confused witht he whole situation. (Why God allowed that to happen.) Maybe God wanted me to know that I can get pregnant and to be ready for my period? I dunno. I guess this means my period will be here in a short amount of time.

Jae, you could still get pregnant... Anything within 5-6 days of ovulation makes pregnancy a possibility.

LOL SSarah that is so funny you only just found it! I remember back when we were doing secret sisters you couldn't find it then!!

Ryanne nice to see you popping in. are you having a good time?

Jae- I would so do something like that myself so don't feel bad! Maybe its time you and Jason had a good ol chat and prayed and see if it is time to have another one if you are not sure how the each other really feel about it?

Nicole- sorry your mum is being a pain, when she does come, spike her coffee with vegemite!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Well hubby is off for the next 5 days, so I have to "look busy" otherwise he will comment on how easy it is to stay at home, blah blah blah. Nath woke every 2 hours again last night. I ate a tablespoon of icecream last night, it was ok, I mean, I thought i would melt at the taste but i didn't. I think coz it was cheap ice cream! Hubby's silly little friend on facebook chatted with him again last night. We had a huge fight about it. He doesn't think there is anything wrong having a female friend of his own, he still wants to catch up with her, and he plans on doing it alone. He tries to make me the bad guy for being concerned about it.

Soooo..... tell me ladies....If your brother's wife has a daughter and then you ask what the boy name would have been and they say Micah.... then they have another girl and Micah was still the name they would have used.... then you get pg and are having a boy do you a) pick the Name Micah b) pick something else ?

If your choice is a... does the sil have a right to be miffed? Just wondering what you cool headed ladies think...

Why did you chose Micah? Did you like that name prior to her expressing love/interest in that name?

My opinion... if you don't have a reason to use it (i.e. passing on a dad's name, family reasons, etc) I would say look to find another name you love. I would do that out of respect for the fact that your SIL has verbally spoken of using that name for years. IMHO, it is not worth it to use that name if it would (potentially) cause a rift, contention, or hurt feelings with someone you have a relationship with.

To me, it would be different if she JUST told you After you told her. However, I can see why her feelings would be hurt. That's the name she's always loved (and been sure to tell you) and it would feel like you 'stole' it.

I realize that sounds irrational, but it doesn't change the reality of how it would feel.

indeed. The SIL has a right to be miffed, especially if she's been verbal about the fact that they wish to name their first boy Micah.
Here's my guess. YOU are the SIL...am I right? They should have picked another name out of kindness and respect.

Jae- In this case, I'm the offended one. Yes, all our names have meaning- we choose by meaning/signifcance- ie Eleni Gloria is named after my husbands godmother and my grandmother- both VERY godly women who we would be thrilled to have her emulate- a name to live up to. Anna Elizabeth is gracious and consecrated to God- plus, the story of Anna is one that I LOVE. For the moment, I forget the meaning of Micah Peter- but it would have been for Micah from the Bible and Peter my husbands very godly best friend- and the meanings are both good ones...sigh... plus, in two pg's it is the ONLY boy name we could remotely agree on I know I'll get over it, but now...I'm ticked...

I haven't talked to her since finding out- she had the baby this afternoon and they didn't announce the name until then- one of those times thta I'm soooo glad we hear these things by phone and not in person. Dh hung up the phone and said..."so, I can tell by your reaction that you are ticked." Then when I said that I was upset and that it didn't help that she is avoiding talking to me for the last month he said, "You know that it doesn't have anything to do with you and it's kind of arrogant to think that it does." At that point, I just shut my mouth and headed to where I can vent without being judged. Apparently, he just doesn't understand the rules- family and good friends don't "take" each other's names- isn't that universal female code? He says we can still use the name if we want, but...that seems tacky too...

they tell me with how bad mine are that it's the only way to get any kind of relief...but that any future pregnancy will make whatever surgery I do get not do any good anymore...

Well, mine were really bad, and I had surgery when my ds was under a year old - and becoming pregnant with my dd 4 years later did not have any detrimental effect on the surgery whatsoever. I didn't have any kind of flare-up either during that 2nd pregnancy or after it.

My preggy mind is causing me to laugh hysterically at these two posts (they were posted on the thread in this order) ... for some reason when reading it the first time, I missed Janine's comment about the chocolate ... so just read the bolded parts and see where my mind was going ...........

(And with the afternoon I've had, I really needed a good laugh!)

Kara I did the same thing.

I scooped the cat box today. that's been it outside of babyworld. She's being very clingy the past few days. Doesnt sleep well during day unless on me or in sling.

This place could use a decluttering and I hope to pass her to hubby so he can get some time in with her and I can get some stuff picked up once he's home.

Jennifer, that would tick me off too. I think you should be tacky right back and name your future boy Micah. If she says anything, remind her that she was the tacky one....not in those words of course.

Timmy peed in the potty 3 times and in his undies once which also ended up on the floor. Yay! Robert made me put the potty back in the bathroom though , and we haven't had any successfull pees yet in there. He's back in a diaper for now. I wish Robert would quit being so bossy about EVERYTHING that he has no clue about how it affects me and my ease of taking care of our children. At LEAST once a day! I have to have a talk with him tomorrow or tonight before I yell at him and just do it my way with no regard for him. Because that is exactly what will happen if I have to put up with it any longer. If he criticizes me one more time....Oneah these days (shakes fist)....I HATE having EVERY aspect of my life controlled...so what if I put the spoon right on the stove and not on a spoon holder....I've always just wiped it up for the LAST 3 YEARS! I really hate these kind of talks with him. He never believes me, so I have to compile a list. I don't normally keep a record of wrongs, but I have to so he will see what he is doing to me.

No Nicole, not yet. It's still today here

We're heading to town in the morning (about 12 hours from now ) and we'll only be home in the afternoon. Not sure what time we'll be home, probably only supper time!! I can hardly stand it!

Jen, that really sucks about the name. I would be totally disappointed too.
