I think i see a very faint second line with the second test. The first test has two definite obvious 2 lines. I'm using the strip tests so I question if it's a ovulation test I took the second time. It's hard to tell the difference.

I'm going to wait until the morning to use the digital test. It's going to be hard to wait that long! That and I pee every time I get up (its' amazing how much I have to pee) so I'll try to hold it in all night and test in the morning.

I feel like throwing up. I am going to go eat something. LOL

Wow Jae, I would be scared too, but you are stronger than what you think, and like someone said you have VERY good support. Congratulations if its true :)

Happy Birthday dear Maggie!!

Sarah- yay for potty training, he is doing well! How are you doing? How is your hand (or is it hands)?

I am really tired, Nath didn't sleep well AGAIN 2 hourly wakings. I am thinking its not the dairy and I just want breastfeeding to be over. I am not one that enjoys it, I just do it because its best for him, so I think 10.5 months of exclusive breastfeeding, with little sleep is a good effort. So why do I feel so bad? Why am I feeling like a loser today? Ugh, I need sleep.

eh, ok....it's both of them. They cramp up a lot still but I am used to it. I just know how to get through life without opening things or grabbing things too tightly. My head though is horrible now. It got much worse since having Justice....probably hormone related. I tried all sorts of way sto cut the pain, but nothing even touches it....even cold drinks (that used to work) barely work now. They can't do anything about it though...just something I will have to live with. I have also noticed that my face is more drawn since the pain got worse.

just remember that it isn't a race, there are no losers or winners....it's just life. You do what you need to do and make decisions for change when you need to. So don't feel bad that you feel bad....I feel bad for you and completely understand!!!! Do what you have to do though (however, I would suggest one more elimination first before you wean him...just so you can know for sure that what you give him instead of nursing isn't going to affect him badly either)

I didn't know your head was sore too, why is it sore? You poor thing, you do it hard. Gee I feel like a big fat whiner compared to some of you who have things tough too.

Thanks Sarah, I will try the soy thing, but maybe try giving him a bit of rice milk, even for one nursing time would be good.

My hands hurt due to carpel tunnel in both wrists....my head because of bell's palsy.
the back of me head....right side, and my neck. It is sore and "swollen" all the time because of the bell's palsy. Usually I would say it is like an annoying bruise...you know it's there, but it won't go away and meds don't do anything. However, since having Justice it's gotten much worse in levels of intensity...I rarely get through one whole day without crying in pain...and that really affects my mental ability to think sometimes (which is why I am not really posting much b/c people take what I say wrong because of my writing short posts due to the pain of having to form logical thoughts.) Today is a relatively good day....haven't cried yet....but I can feel it getting worse as the day goes on.

until you eliminate rice as a culprit I wouldn't do that.

Dear God, Help me. I just took a pregnancy test and there are two lines. I am past the hysterical panicked crying to shock. Please. someone. anyone. Tell me I can do this. Tell me it's doable.

Oh wow...congrats!!!

It could be that your urine was more concentrated the first time and dilute this second time. I'm a Medical Lab Tech...a faint line is still a positive result.

God is so good! Something went wrong with finances this month, and I didn't realize Timmy was low on diapers. Well, I prayed and guess what, I found some diapers in the trunk of our car! Enough to last us 3 days before payday, so we'll see what else happens.

You answered your own questions. You feel bad cuz you need sleep. I feel so terrible for you. I agree that 10.5 months of breastfeeding and no sleep for that entire time is a good effort. I could see me giving up right away. Seriously... so you are obviously more patient (and maybe a little crazier? ) than I am. Is it okay to just give him soy or rice milk and food and no more breast milk? Or would that make him sick?

Sorry about that! I always try to be careful about spelling other's names (you should see the way some people spell Akeelah!), but then I always fall in the trap of knowing someone who spells it one way, and then always using that spelling.

Sarah - good luck with the potty training! Akeelah is starting to show signs for toilet training and it's getting me a little antsy (I have no clue how it will go!)

Nicole - I agree with you, laundry is definitely fun! I just wish I had my own machines then I could be more relaxed about it rather than trying to get it all done in a specific amount of time.

Chelle - I'm in the process of starting at Genesis and reading straight through, because I've never read the entire OT. I had to buy a devotional book to help me keep on track though! (One Year Through the Bible.)

Janine - while I didn't have a child when Akeelah turned 1, I knew I could have handled it, and I was definitely ready for another baby then. It may seem scary now, but once you're in the situation of Jadon being a year, you'll know that you can do it.

Happy Birthday Maggie!!!

I was so happy when we had machines of our own! In our first 2 apartments the machines were right across the hall so it was easy. And no one seemed to ever use them. In the last apartment the machines were on the main floor and they were always full of clothes. It was annoying. And I hated waiting in the laundry room the whole time to make sure someone wouldn't throw my clothes on the floor or table when they wanted the machine. It was such a huge pain.

Sarah that would be really tough, I will keep you in my prayers.

Christina- that's great news! Praise God.

Nicole- thanks for the love and support :) Well like Sarah has pointed out he may have a soy allergy and not dairy (i always type fairy) so I will try no soy for a few weeks and see what happens. Seeing as I don't think rice is a problem I may offer him a rice milk drink for at least one feed in the day to just give me a little break and help him get used to the idea that he can't suckle at mummy's breast all the time :)

Well I got out of the house for a bit tonight...ALONE! It was nice, but I was glad to get back home too. I found a really good book on cookie recipes at the library w/ nutritional information too, oh and a gardening book.

Congrats Jae!!

Yes, you can do this. A lot will change in the next 8.5 months until baby #2 comes. It will be easier than having a baby dropped in your lap today.

Trust me, if I can do this without going to the funny farm, you definitely can.

With my guys, it isn't the lactose ... it's the milk protein (cassein). We actually switched Thomas to goat's milk, and that's when he really began to thrive.

Well I am totally clueless about that one!

Hey, I have heard that goat's milk is so good for so many people who can't handle normal milk. Do you have goat's milk where you live Nicole?

Wow, when I logged on and saw that there were 2 new pages since I was here this morning, I knew something was up...

Congrats Janine...wow, I can believe that you would be shocked. You CAN do this, you WILL do this! By the time baby number two comes along you'll be an expert at baby stuff!! And think, you'll have quite a long time before baby even gets here, it's not like it will be arriving soon. Wow. I'm so glad for you, what a blessing after all those months (years?) of trying to get pregnant, you are DOUBLE blessed!!

I just wanted to drop a note that my . is 6 days late

We have goats milk, not fresh but I saw it when I bought the rice milk. I could try him on that I suppose too.

I just went to the shops and bought myself some tulips to cheer me up. They have a bit

Yolanda- are you wanting to get pregnant at the moment? I thought I might have been, but I have done 4 tests LOL all negative.
