Yay! for the interview.

I'll add your school to mine when I pray in the morning, misaham.

Thanks. I am sure that I will settle down.

He is inside playing with girl from next door. She is the sweetest thing, and her dad just moved out. I could not turn her away.

Yay for new baby girls!!!

Jesse was sitting there at 12:30pm minding his own business, and suddenly started shrieking in pain. Motrin, ice - no go. The pain was around his eye and down his face. I dropped everything and ran him to his doc. Diagnosis - nerve pain. We're doing ibuprofen around the clock through the weekend and we'll reassess on Monday. We have no idea if this has anything to do with his CD5 or not, but we will touch base with his immunologist anyway.

I am very frustrated with medical stuff today. We still don't know what's wrong with Brandon, and now this with Jesse. I am tired of running back and forth to doctors. I am tired of going home and feeling like I'm still at work. OK . . . I am hoovering it up and dealing with it. I am very well aware that they could have something much worse, and I will be grateful that this is all we're dealing with. Thanks for letting me whine.

Jen, sorry for the temp agency woes. Ever feel like telling them to call you when they finally get a clue?

I just went to a Circus, it was BORING. We left at intermission. It was a family run circus, no animals, just a bunch of juggling and flips and things. Maybe we should of stayed longer... but 6 yr old was more interested in buying balloons for 3.00 each and my boys thought it was dumb. Noah was making me hot and making my back hurt. So home, sweet home, we are!!!

DD has been getting some orthodontic work done. Her mouth is so sore right now.

Dh just called to let me know he passed his shooting test for the sheriff reserves. He is happy.

Hey guys,
Hubby is coming down to help with some stuff around our house in Cincy (that we are trying to sell). Then it looks like the kids and I might stay here for a while.
Not officially a separation, but...

The kids have no idea. It seems like everyone we know is splitting up...

As bad as things have been, I am heart broken right now.
Thanks for your prayers.

Thanks,
Melissa

PS I am going to bed...

Misaham,

Moving is a very stressful event, and add to it your relatives' recent meddling and any marriage would be wobbling! My prayer is that you and dh will turn toward the Lord and each other and overcome all the events that threaten your family.

ROFL, you can say 'suck it up' because it is a totally different use of the word, lol. But you made me laugh.

Ugh, it got hot and muggy in here. Supposed to be hot for today and tomorrow, then cool again. I guess it can't make up its mind.

Music appreciation this weekend--the Tumbleweed Music Festival is on. Free entrance and all types of music and even some classes! (like dulcimer, for instance, lol). Since music appreciation is a required subject in this state, we will be taking advantage of it.

We took my friend's son--the one who was locked in a room at his last school?--to jukido tonight since his mom still can't drive. He is having SUCH a tough time. He is in a different school for the first semester and school started yesterday. I can see the toll it's already taking. He was very disobedient and cried several times, and twice I saw him slam his head into something when he was reprimanded.

I was hoping someone might get a chuckle out of it. I have not chuckled much these past few weeks.

Of course!

So, what do you get when you hire a 12 yo boy to paint the insides of closets? A 12 yo boy covered in paint, of course. Nate looks 60 years older with his white hair, lol. Apparently his boss wanted to take him to Goodwill and buy him painting clothes and Nate had quite a time convincing him those WERE his painting clothes, but there is definitely no question about it now, lol. I guess the guy was worried about what I would say when I saw him, but I just laughed.

mazel Tov for Esther's arrival. I too had a feeling it was a girl and was hoping for a girl too, for Hannah's sake.

(((Melissa)))

I have been busy trying to print out stuff on line now that we finally have a printer! Sometimes it worked well and other times...not so well. I have waht I need for now and I am taking a break.

I finally found a homeschool activity group in this area that responds to emails, does not have dues or require you to interview with them first before you join in any activities..so I'm excited.

Tomorrow morning is a play date I signed up for. I don't normally do things out of the house on Fridays, but this seemed a good deal. I spent this evening making tomorrow's lasagna and challah so once we get back I won't have to worry about rushing to get those things done.

In id September one of the ladies is having a tye dye party-we're going to do that one too.

At least they weren't painting the closets hot pink.

BTW Ashley was ranting about Brandon last night after she was done chatting with him . . . she says you are the sweetest person in the entire world and don't deserve to have your kid treat you like this when you've busted your backside and all your other parts to give him food and shelter. I agree. Just thought you'd like to know.

LOL, tell her thank you. I don't think I am the sweetest person, but thank her anyway, as it's a good thing to hear.

It will take Brandon a while to decompress, and I am OK with that.

I just sent my brother an e-card for his birthday, which was officially over 4 minutes ago. Got all excited about Esther and forgot to wish him a happy birthday.
