Status: offline 		Back for a few...sister and family as well as hubby all enroute home and I need to start fixing some dinner. I think she is stopping at KFC and I'm going to fry up some squash I have in the fridge as well as heat up some leftover greenbeans and whatever she picks up with the chicken.

Tomorrow night is seafood I think...maybe...

Goodnews...I can go out of town for the week and not have to worry about taking the dog...I'm paying my eldest to dog sit. He's a little short of cash and instead of loaning him the money he is going to earn it by puppysitting! Sure makes traveling less hectic that's for sure not to mention saving us some money on the motel in VA. Trying to find a reasonable place that allows pets and the pet surcharge is really interesting to say the least. Saving about $38/night in difference in room rate and puppy surcharge.

Very heavy thunderstorms this afternoon, they now have moved over toward Gainesville and are moving about 20 mph. Not much damage only report of one tree down. As much as 3 inches of rain in some areas.
Hopefully they get a large amount over Lake Lanier basin.

Status: offline 		Have to update damage. Lightning hit a home in Cobb County and it was destroyed by fire. Lightning also hit a Church in Atlanta. Mostly steeple damage and water damage. They showed rain in Gainesville and it was raining sideways.

Status: online 		There are warning out here tonight till 10. I haven't heard any thunder in a few hours though. (Knock on wood)

I'm "hanging out" with the boys I used to nanny for tonight. I won't call it babysitting because they are too old for a sitter. They asked me to cook their favorite dinner: Meatballs w/ gravy, mashed potatoes, corn and yeast rolls.

Still here, Santa, and very happy that you're concerned about us! About 25,000 people were without power for a little while after the storms went through. Everything's settled back down to normal now!

Did y'all get anything up there in Tennessee?
