How is your weekend going so far? I am still feeling tired and might go back and lay down in a few minutes. At least my subs are under 100 now though.

Hi everyone. Is anyone else subscribed to Astronomy Picture Of The Day? They have amazing photographs of the universe.

My plans for this weekend are:

finish homework as soon as possible (so I can get to the family and fun parts)

Watch South Pacific (need to watch the gal who does Bali Ha'i so I can copy some moves and her accent from when singing that song in studio next Friday...also for family time. We like that movie! two birds w/ one stone)

Grocery shop

Laundry (my day is Sunday)

Clean out the storage room. (My daughter wants new bedroom furniture, and due to a large financial gift I can afford to get it, but I don't want to get rid of the bed she's sleeping on now, so we have to make room for it somewhere)

Trying not to worry/think about what to do now that I know I only managed to get one semester credit for French.

Lisa, Robb...I'm sorry you guys are so sick. I'll be praying.

Hmmm, well if I am so enthused a day trip somewhere, however that is not very likely though. I may do a ferry or boat trip instead. I am thinking of doing this boat trip in particular: Codzilla. Or maybe I will do a whale watch instead.

Cool boat. Hmmmm 40mph. Do you think that paint job would look good on my pontoon?

Yea! for Trishy & John.

We're getting some rain and steady breezes here... from Gustav!! He's sending some moisture our way... we're not getting a direct hit. But this does remind me to pray for those who are evacuating today.

Ok, no whining allowed. It's Labor Day -- a day to take a break from work. *said as she prepares for a whole day of coursework*

It's Labor Day and I get a day off!!!!

Not that I dislike what I do but it's still nice to have time off every once in a while.

Thanks Esther. I was feeling better on Thursday, but was much worse yesterday (and about the same today - bleah). Thankfully I discovered some (still good) cough syrup in my medicine cabinet and that helped me sleep last night. Gonna have to make my way to the drug store to get more though, and buy some more aspirin. Stupid headache is trying to come back again.

I don't get a three-day weekend; gotta work Monday. They always have classes as usual on Labor Day.

APOD is a great site! I check it every day. Have a huge folder of images I saved from it. Vivid illustrations of Psalm 19:1!

Not sure I think my mom needed help getting and planting a tree so that will take part of the day. I'll more than likely spend the rest of the day just doing things I don't have time to do when I'm working like washing my truck.
