There are several; I will give only one right now.

I had a friend in the dorms my freshman year of college who had a rather weak stomach. (got sick easily) THey used to have a flavor of spray can cheese called "Green Chives and onions." It was a distinct olive color. I sprayed a lengthy strand over a finger on my right hand and walked into his room. I started to talk to him but then excused myself to turn around and "sneeze." When I turned back, I revealed this long green one hanging from my finger. He let out a sick groan. I then ate the string (it was only cheese) to which he almost lost his lunch right then and there.

That's brilliant DaveW.

Heard a similar one - someone bought a tub of coleslaw. (Don't know what it's called in the USA - in the UK coleslaw is a salad made with finely grated raw cabage and carrots in a pale mayonnaise).

Anyway whilst seated on the plane, after take off, he put the content of the tub in the paper bag they give you in case you are sick. He then made loud vomiting noises in the bag. As everyone looked at him,he took out a spoon and ate the coleslaw.

Oh yeah!

This one was done to another dorm resident, next door neighbor to the guy above. Fall 1973

When I first moved in he was sitting at his desk with a cig roller making joints out of a HUGE bag of marijuana. DOOR WIDE OPEN for all to see. When he got stoned he was oblivious to anything that happened around him. One day he was totally blotzed out and listening to his stereo with the door open - again. We had these big black wall phones (50-60s vintage) with the mechanical ringers and switch mechanisms. I walked in, standing less than 10 ft behind him, disassembled his phone and unhooked the "hook" from the switch mechanism. I then put the cover back on the phone and went back just outside the door while my roommate called his number. He was rousted up from his stupor to answer the phone, and waved to me as he got up. When he picked up the phone and said "hello," it just kept ringing. he hung up and picked it up again. "Hello?" Still ringing.

He hung it back up and said to me "Waow man, I can't even answer the phone..." and sat back down. I then fixed his phone.

When he came straight, he did not remember any of it.

Hi again DaveW,

You mentioning those old black phones reminded me of what I used to do. Remember the earpiece could be unscrewed. I did just that and put a piece of sellotape on the little holes in the earpiece. Then screwed the earpiece back on.

I waited at my desk for the phone to ring. When my colleagues at work answered they could hear nothing because the holes in the earpiece were blocked. However, they could speak and be heard by the other party at the other end.

I sat at my desk laughing.

Also, I used glue to stick their rulers to the desk then later casually asked them to pass the ruler. And laugh when they couldn't pick it up.

You know those little round pieces of paper you get when you use the hole punch? They are normally collected in a small container in the hole punch. I emptied the container in someone's umbrella and left it standing by his desk. In London it rains a lot. That evening the poor victim opened his umbrella in the street and was showered with confetti. He was not amused the following day at work.

No one confessed. Luckily I was never fired.

I think that the best prank that I ever played on somebody was with a handle name that I used on Crosswalk, which was quite simply "Mike."

When in the chatroom a few years ago I said in the room "just because my handle name is Mike doesn't necessarially mean that my name is Mike or that I am a guy." I had this one person going for while. Even after I came clean they still were not sure what to think. [:D]

In the office - unplugging the keyboards/mice from the back of the PC and plugging them in the PC next to it. So every person trying to use the keyboard/mouse is affecting his colleague's PC.

um, this last april fools day a couple of kids and i turned all the desks over in our journalism advisor's classroom so that they were upside down. we then arranged them so they were kinda like a maze, and then set up the camcorder in the corner of the room so we could see the reaction of not only the teacher, but her first period class. it was really funny. we then used the video footage of their reactions in our end of year video yearbook. we also did it to another teacher during our journalism class who was on her lunch break. it was great fun.

THis one was done by my college roommate and his brother on the girls of roommate's gf's (Katie) dorm floor. Fall term of our sophmore year some construction was going on to rework a major intersection on the NE corner of our dorm complex. They cut a major junction of phone lines.

OOOPPPSSS!!! Ma Bell worked on fixing it for the next 2 months. Toward the end of that process (where you never knew if the number you dialed might go to the same phone twice in a row) roommate's brother called Katie's phone early on a Saturday, claiming to be a Michigan Bell worker and saying that the number he just called was the source of the mixup. A guy was stuck down in a hole with the wires (it was raining hard) and when the phone rings again not to answer it or the worker might be electrocuted. Off and on all day the phone rang once or twice and then stopped. Late in the evening she had a party in her room and the phone started ringing and kept ringing for several minutes. Katie finally could not take the ringing any more and answered it, to hear a horrible scream. She dropped the phone and screamed "I killed HIM!!!" She was in tears when roommate's brother came in to explain the prank.

Okay, a few of us who went to the same highschool decided that if we ever got the opportunity, we'd do the following:
There is a local park which has an old steam engine on display, and they even have the light lit at night. A few of the guys from our grad class love to get totally wasted every weekend. We thought it would be fun to record the sound of a steam engine, and then once the guys were beyond the point of comprehension, take them for a walk past the train display and playback the recording as loud as possible.

The opportunity never arose, however ... two of the guys moved away, and the other two (thankfully) smartened up as they got older and stopped the weekly partying.

When I was in high school, there was a guy that was always doing some drug or another. (We will call him Bill.) Pot was his daily ritual, but he was not opposed to acid, shrooms, etc. Well, his brother stayed mad at him because of all this, so when he got a call to pick him up one night, he decided to pay Bill back a bit. He got to where Bill was and found out that he had dropped some acid. By the time they had reached the house, Bill was trippin' hard. His brother got out of the car and went to open the front door of the house. As Bill came down the drive, his brother opened the door and then promptly closed it on himself as he stepped forward. He started screaming that the house was eating him! Bill fell down in the drive and started crying and begging peple to save his brother. He was terrified because the house was eating his brother and no one would go help him. It was hysterical. Kinda mean, but, ohhhh, so funny!

my youth pastor told me a story once about when he was in college, him and his friends always pulled pranks on eachother. so once, him and some buddies lined another guys truck bed with plastic and fillled it with water, and got like 300 goldfish from walmart and dumped 'em in.

sad for the fish. but hilarious. i wish i could have seen the dude's face.

In high school a friend and I found out how to use the printer to make large banners using software. The movie Brewster's Millions was popular at the time. We decided to make a sign during the student council elections that said "vote none of the above!"

We thought we would get suspended or something, but instead people just saw with no big fan-fare other than an immaturish prank instead.

I read somewhere that a senior class let 3 pigs loose in the school. The pigs had signs on them... #1, #2, and #4.

The school spent 6 hours looking for #3. [8D]

My senior year the guys in the football team took the prinicipals desk and set it up perfectly on the roof. Us girls were taking pics like crazy of the office to make sure it got put the right way.

A buddy of mine and I put poison stickers on people's bottled water and kosher stickers on bacon, sausage, and anything not kosher at work.
