I have had the expensive stuff, like watches and shoes, before, and it never worked out. I had a fabulously beautiful watch, expensive, and in ten years, there were no replacement parts. The shoes, promised to be the best I would ever have, eventually (and in a short time) killed my feet, so I went back to the cheap ones that fit and didn't kill me.
I'm just weird, I guess. No, we all KNOW that I am!

The most I have ever spent on a purse was $10.00...and that one was a white satin one for my wedding.
I usually buy them on sale (when I buy them...I don't buy them often...I tend to keep it simple...black for winter, brown for all other seasons....if I need one to match an outfit...I'll sew one out of matching material for a little clasp purse). I don't carry big purses....so they don't cost much.
The one I am using now is really more of a wallet...I got it to put in the last child's diaper bag...but when she potty trained...I like having it so much...I've not replaced it. Smaller is better!

You know, I don't think I like any purse/watch/whatever enough to wear/use it for 10+ years! My tastes change constantly.

60 bucks.....I cant seem to make myself spend more than that because I change purses twice a month......

I would say $70 is about the most I have paid for a purse. Although I would like to own a Dooney & Bourke someday.
