I think Kaitlyn is adorable and sings well for a four year old but she does not belong in Vegas. This is a good stepping stone though for a career of some sort for her. She didn't look like she was going to cry to me, she seems programmed to say thank you no matter what.

I do ask the question whether it was a good idea for her parents to put her through such an ordeal at her young age. I'm sure many psychiatrists would left them have it for making such a decision. I have no idea what they think they are going to do when she does not win. There are other kinds of talent contests that would have been more appropriate for her. This is too overwhelming for a 4-year old. kd

Another thing that bothers me about the 4 year old is although she is cute and adorable and sings well for a 4 year old, there has been better talent voted off that should have been kept instead of her.

Her lip quivers a lot and it looks like she's going to bawl her eyes out.

Because she doesn't look like it to me. If she truly is about to cry then one more reason for her to not be in that competition, what 4 year old needs to go through that?

She was about to cry on many occasions. When you see a lip quiver, that indicates something. Haha. But yes, I'm kind of agreeing that she needs to be voted off because I don't think she can take much longer. I want her to win...but then I don't want to see her go through anymore criticism. I think it IS time for her to go home, even though I shall miss her!

There's a little boy that I take care of after school that looks like the little boy who plays the cello with the Wright kids.

I think Nuttin' But Stringz is the best act on there. They're awesome... and they write ALL THEIR SONGS. Nobody else on there can compete with that, really. The kids are cute and all, but the only show I would pay to see is definitely those two. I'd better go vote...

I agree with all the comments about Kaitlyn. I've felt from the very beginning that it was wrong for her parents to allow her to do this. I mean, people will not pay $80 to hear a four-year old sing for an hour. One song is cute, more than that and the novelty wears out. Therefore, she's going to get voted off sooner than later. And yes, I've thought that she was going to start crying a number of times. I keep wanting to yell at the TV screen, "Would somebody take this poor child away and let her be a kid?" And yes, it's a shame that better talent has been voted off when you know she won't make it.

I might be willing to pay to hear them. I'll just have to see how they do these next few nights.

My three favorites are Queen Emily, Neil Boyd, and Nuttin but Stringz. I think I would pay to see any of those. Last night just proved even more that Kaitlyn should not have made it this far. Who would have a four year old sing that song. Just like Piers said he wasn't going to criticize her because she doesn't understand what they are saying anyway. She just stands up there and nods and says thank you. I don't think it is the judges that upset her it is when the audience boos the judges and she doesn't know it isn't her they are booing but the judges. Piers was right when he said that people really need to think when they are voting for her because she does not belong on a Vegas stage. That doesn't mean she isn't cute or adorable because she is but this is not the competition for her.

I'm afraid the show has already written Kaitlyn's ticket. Not, just her singing, but w/ her personality, she's already headed to Hollywood. I'm worried what we are going to find out about her when she's a teenager. She & her family need a lot of prayer. I think it's another case of parents monopolizing on their kids' abilities. But, we shouldn't just talk about Kaitlyn. Even though the Wright kids are older, they are still kids. After hearing the little boy sing, I'm afraid he's going to go down that difficult road. He's got the cutes, personality, & voice that could either help him or get him in a lot of trouble. The industry is dangerous, that's all there is to it. Parents take too many chances when they exploit their children this way. k

Yeah I keep forgetting about the Wright Kids, I really don't care for them, although they would probably do well in Branson. They already go around performing at different venues. They have a website that I visited the other day.

ORIGINAL: teaspoon61 I am glad of the final 5. I didn't think Katlyn would last after last night and have been very suprised that she made it this far. I just wish they would put a minimum age limit on the contestants for this show. This would prevent kids younger than . . . . lets say 10 being on the show. I'm going to miss her though.

She handled the elimination really well. I'm proud of her. The Wright Kids took it harder. I just wanted to cry w/ that little boy! kd

I haven't been able to catch this show for the past several weeks, who is still in the running?

I am happy with and was not surprised with the final 5.

Should be a good competition with the final five. I'm glad that Kaitlyn is going home finally and she handled it better than I expected. She needs to be a kid now.
