Umm, you're kidding, right? Goodness gracious, woman, this is the furthest thing from "just another project" I've ever seen! CS would be proud, that's for sure.

Hey KuKu and Rach

Christine - very good question!

I've actually been doing a lot of thinking about that these past couple of days.

I think that this is one of those things where Our Lord doesn't really have a "yes" or a "no", but rather a "it's your choice" . . . I haven't received a definite "continue" nor a definite "stop".

SO . . . given that, here is what I've decided to do:

I spent quite a bit of time today packing up about 100 pounds of toys. (Yes, I was weighing the boxes - LOL). Those toys are not going to be auctioned.

The remaining toys - the ones that didn't get packed up will be auctioned - if I can get them all uploaded within the next two weeks. After two weeks, any toys that have not been uploaded for auctions will not be auctioned.

THEN . . . I've given myself 4 more weeks for various other auctions - non-toy type stuff.
Yi, Yi, Yi . . . I just now remembered that there are some LPs that I kept that I plan on auctioning.

I'm going to be a bit busy for the next 6 weeks; that's for sure!

BTW . . . extra points to people who use my full name (Sharon-Marie or SharMar) . . . not just half my name. Deduction of points to those who use just half my name.

HERE are my current auctions that I uploaded this evening.

These uploads kinda tickles me . . . they show how varied CS was in his interests.

This auction and this auction are my two favorites from today.

Hi, Marie!

Maybe you can be Santa Claus and give the remaining toys away to kids or kid's groups in town. I'm sure a lot of those are too small to give to little kids though.

I like the Dick Tracy and the Planet of the Apes ones. I predict there will be fierce bidding on those.

Great minds, Batman! That's actually one of my options. There's a children's home that I'm going to contact on another matter, and it occurred to me over the weekend to talk to them about the toys as well.

There's also another option that I'm considering regarding some people who knew CS.

Hey! Maybe I could do a combination of the two ideas!

Really?

I could only find one Planet of the Apes toy.

Ooooh!!! Do you know who the Dick Tracy character in the red suit and hat is? I spent an inordinate amount of time trying to figure that out.

I even came back to this thread . . . and . . . LOL . . . all the posts said, "Dick Tracy characters."

Man, I could've had a V-8 on that one. Until I read your post, I hadn't even considered doing both; but was instead looking at it as an either/or thing.

Duh.

Have you been taking blonde lessons from Karlie?

I think that guy is Big Boy Caprice.

Alphonse "Big Boy" Caprice which was played by Al Pacino, is the guy in the red coat and hat. I am pretty sure.

That is the extent of my knowledge on the issue though. LOL!

I see that Steve had the answer, but I supplied a link.

I guess it wouldn't help my cause to say that I give her lessons, would it?

For some reason, I wouldn't be a bit surprised.

Hey Sharon!

I was wondering if it was him; and for the very same link.

However, my uncertainty stems from the fact that the photo link shows a guy wearing a striped shirt with a patterned tie.

The toy character is wearing a solid grey shirt with red tie.

I think I spent about an hour researching various Dick Tracy characters and then finally just let him go unnamed . . . which is still grating on me. LOL
