{{{GC!!!}}}

It's very good to see you, and Mucho Gracias for helping me with the toys!

Tell your mom I said hello, please.

How's your summer going?

LOL. Rach, some people still have their doubts.

So are you through with the cleaning and photographing now? Congratulations! I know it was grueling.
Thanks, Pam!
And yes, I'm done with the cleaning . . . but not all the photographing.
I now need to photograph the toys for selling purposes (i.e., I'm selling some toys in groups and such, etc.)

That's quite a collection you have there, Shar-Mar! Just looking through the albums brought back some fond memories.

Glad to be of help.

I can't really take any credit for the toys, though . . . they all belonged to CS; and he had been collecting them for almost 20 years when we met.

Wow! Well he amassed quite a collection. I had no idea there were Charlie Brown marionettes.

Do you intend to sell them? If so, you might want to do some research after you finish naming each one. You might be able to sell some for more than you could individually if you can bundle them in their original set.

Yes . . . I will be selling all the toys, and I do plan on selling most of the things in groups / sets.

The more valuable toys - I'll sell those last . . . so that I can use the time and the other toys to build up my reputation as a good seller.

Those marionettes are pretty cool!

I just wish I could figure out how to untangle the cords.
It's amazing they got tangled up sitting in boxes . . . before I packed them up, they had been "floating" from the ceiling in the toy room.

Hey, Shar-Mar!

#206 is Plastic Man, from the animated series based on the comic book by the same name.

That's the extent of my knowledge on this batch, other than to echo what's already been identified.

Jill, those (along with the Peanuts Gang, Looney Tunes and Mickey Mouse stuff) are probably going to be some of the later things that I put in the auctions . . . they're what I remember from my own childhood. LOL

And just to give you a rough time-frame of when I'll be putting them up for auction, I have a goal of having all the auctions done within the next 3-4 months.

Sharon-Marie, though I am not interested in buying toys, obviously there are people here that are. Will you be posting updates in here, like when you put a new group up for auction will you announce it in here somewhere, either a new thread or this one?

Hey Kath - great question!

I'd definitely like to keep people updated on new auctions.

I was thinking of perhaps doing the same thing I did during the i.d. process . . . posting the updates here in this thread and posting a link to the updates in my signature.

What do you think?

Smurfs aren't tall enough to be knee deep. I'd believe ankle deep.
