quote:
ORIGINAL: horsepill Dancing in the Dark by Bruce Springsteen [:)] ETA: Love the above, but there are others of his that are just as good. Like Hungry Heart, Born to Run, Glory Days, Working on the Highway (this has me up & grooving even if I'm the only one in the room doing so, hee.) Also yeah, humbleinspirit, great U2 song and great video, too. I prefer the older Bruce by far over anything he did after 1980. Songs like Rosalita, Adam Raised a Cain, Kitty's Back, and the entire Darkness album are, in my opinion, far superior to anything on Bored in the USA or anything newer. I've said it before, when he stopped singing about cars and girls and got all political he lost me. One exception is the Pete Seeger tribute he did. But you can keep anything after The River. quote:
the theme from The Green Hornet aka Flight of the Bumblebee by the late great Al Hirt. My former guitar teacher rocks that song. quote:
Join Christian music fans from around the world I'm a Christian, I like Christian music, and I'm from this planet. You're new, so let me give you some advice, leave your legalism and judgmental attitude at the door, they aren't welcome here. We much prefer a discussion with an open mind and a sense of humor. Now then, after careful deliberation, I have decided that the greatest rock song ever is Stairway to Heaven. No, only kidding. I choose Chicago's "Ballet for a Girl in Buchannon" suite from their second album. It starts with "Make Me Smile" and runs through "Now More Than Ever". Back then they played it as one long piece instead of chopping it into the singles versions. The Live From Carnegie Hall version shows how tight these guys were. Edited to fix typos.
