I put "against". Looks like I'm the only one! It's not that I have a problem with the concept of being pure, I am all for keeping myself pure. I just have a problem with the concept of purity rings and necklaces. It all seems rather flip to me, as if you can buy purity for "only 34.99!". Jewelry is also something that you can put on or take off in an instant. Purity isn't something that you can wear or not wear whenever you feel like it, it's a life choice thing, and it sure isn't supposed to be a fashion statement or a young hollywood fad! I got totally over the purity ring thing when I saw all the little Disney stars start flashing them like gang signs. It has totally cheapened the whole thing. If ya'll want to wear purity rings, I really don't have a problem with that. Just make sure its your focus on and commitment to God that's keeping you pure, not some temporal piece of jewelry.
