Well, one day at work one of the professors was trying to explain to a visitor my job in the department. My official title is Instructor/Lab Technician, which is a bit of a mouthful, so I offered up that I was the department's "Lab Guy". It stuck.

There is absolutely no truth to the rumor that it comes from this Nickolodeon show. Nope, not one bit. (Well, not consciously anyway. Errr... I'm going to shut up now.)

I have been struggling the last couple of months/years with a lot of different issues. one of which is my faith, and salvation. I have been recently working very diligently to get into Gods word and read books on assurance, and salvation, and just living for God. So I decided to change from my original to what is current. It could change as my mood changes, but for now this suits me just fine.

As may become apparent by following my signature links, Ganheim is my penname pretty much across the internet. Fiction Press, Fan Fiction, Deviant Art, and the other places I frequent...though that list pretty much covers it for now.

I read a lot of FF and go to Deviant Art a lot.

What kind of stories do you write? I'd love if you PMed links if you have them. Same with your art work.

My writing's spread across a lot of the spectrum, from fantasy to science fiction, though I tend to prefer drama and introspective pieces, and action. Sadly, besides photography, I don't have much in the way of graphic art. While I was stationed overseas it wasn't an easy option and at the moment I'm still waiting for my goods to get back.

If you want to read anything and leave some form of feedback or questions or whatnot, I'm always eager for opinions.

I'll check out your links when I get home. Everything is blocked here.

As for feedback...LOL...you may not want that. I've upset many a people with my feedback. Ironically I had an author seek me out to give him feedback because he welcomed my candor.

Mine's prolly the longest story. It originally was "JungleSkipperTina" because I am a skipper on the Jungle Cruise at DisneyWorld (laymen's terms - I drive a boat and tell bad jokes! haha!). Last year while working one day I left my nametag at home. I borrowed a nametag from costuming that said "Betty" (It was all they had).

Since on the cruise we have to introduce ourselves, I prefer to introduce myself as whatever nametag I'm wearing (it just prevents hassle). Well, as Betty, I started getting into it....giving Betty Rubble giggles, and just being Betty. Quickly I became Fun Betty. The nametag went over so well that I kept it, and began using it on a daily basis. I added a "Woo!!!!" when I introduced myself "Hi, my name is Fun Betty! Wooo!! and I'm gonna be your skipper today". It stuck. My friends and even managers started calling me Fun Betty. Newer coworkers didn't even know my real name! I haven't worked there in almost 5 months and I still hear it constantly whenever I talk to old friends. So, I kept it.

I chose my username because I wanted something to represent my Lord. So the word Cloak popped up in my head and I thought there you go "The Cloak of Christ." with an icon of HIM as well after having changing it from a kitty avatar to this lovely Icon of my Lord.

My user name came from my camp nursing days when I was a the nurse for the little sprouts who were 5-7 yos. Seeing as they had no mom for a few days I was the stand in one. So they decided on Drmom seeing as I was the nurse as well as the stand in mom. The second part is my first name. I have been notified that I am incorrectly portraying myself as a doctor and that is and has never been my intention. Im just a little down to earth nurse with a huge heart for children

That's plain silly. It's just a screenname. Or am I incorrectly portraying myself as a bug? ... for that matter a lady?

Mine is pretty simple as well. I have liked trains, real and model railroads, since I was a child. So trainfan fits me best.

I've told this story around the Single's forum before, but the bare bones of it is:

Sometimes I have so many decisions to make and so many burdens to carry as a single mom that I feel downright crazy.

One time I felt that way and I was reading 2 Cor 5:13. I realized that it was Ok if I felt crazy...it was even ok if I WAS crazy, because God could use me either way.

So I'm besiderself. And that's WITHOUT an "h"...in case some of you hadn't noticed.
