I say give snars to old blue.

This captures the essence of snarkiness, which (at least to me) is to say something that might be a compliment, but on closer examination is really an insult.

Me, too. It's an art form.

Welcome to the forums.

Your first post is rather novel... 5 screens long, no paragraph breaks, no capital letters, minimal punctuation, and lots of accusations but not even a rhetorical question. I think we should all cancel our plans for the day and study this special message and wait patiently until you can spare another few moments to spew forth more revelation.

So how old were you when the fear of paragraphs set in?

Oh my. You've certainly shown your willingness to read the bible with all of those interesting scripture references. Have you given any thought to studying what they actually mean or do you plan to continue adjusting the meaning to fit your own pet theology?

Where can I get a Bible that says exactly what I want it to?

That'd be the Fill-In-The-Blank translation.

I used to have one that was written in pencil. It had one of those really nice erasers that came with it and everything!

So...not matter what...it said what I wanted it to say.

You make that up all by yourself or did you find that snappy comeback on Google?

It's not especially intellectual but at least it is totally original. It reminds me of a 4th grade version of "Neener, neener, neener."

after someone began their post with a long winded appology in advance, hoping that I wouldn't be offended but would take their rebuttle in love I simply replied this:

Not to worry, I am not offended. I've been in this thread since thousands of posts back. And to be fair, I don't read the long posts.

Some of the threads here must be tread with caution. Some people do not believe it, but Pharisees are still around!

Wow. That has to be the longest, single paragragh I've ever seen on these forums. That's really saying something...

This is one thread that I think I will need to read in its entirety. Thanks to whoever it was in the Lion's Den thread for directing me here.

I had a day today, sitting in a meeting with someone else who truly believed she was the best thing to ever come down the pike, and doggone ANYONE who dared to speak before she had a chance to get EVERYTHING off her chest.

I had a lot of things running through my mind today but none of them were fit to share - even here.

>snarky> I so appreciate that you have the honest conviction to let me know that I am in serious danger if I continue on this course, and that all blessings thus far are really only deceptions. How could anyone be so blind?

You know I'm not going to spend the 45 minutes it would take to read that last post, right?

Too funny.......... I had that exact thought while attempting to read an OP in the women's folder on modesty. I gave up after it was apparent that no discussion was needed on the extemporaneous onslaught.

OH! I get it now. This is a contest.

What are we being judged on?

....most convoluted logic?

....longest run-on sentences?

....least punctuation?

....most verses used to support an untenable position?

Well, whatever the contest is, I concede. You are obviously a grand master at this.
