Watch over them Lord and help them.
Mininster to them Lord through the power of your Holy Spirit

I've been away from the threads for a few days because so much has been happening. One thing that happened, requires the prayer of those who attend this thread frequently. One of our choir members, on the Praise Team at church was killed in a motorcycle accident. Her husband is still alive but on life support. He suffers from a possible head injury and all four limbs are broken. If he survives; he'll most likely be living with lifetime disabilities. Please pray for this man. His name is Greg and he's a preacher of God's Word.
Father, I come to You in Jesus' name; on behalf of Greg and so many others who have been injured and are now facing a life with disabilities. You, Lord are the divine Healer and as we turn to You now, we remember the quote in Your word that tells us, " By Your stripes, we are healed!" Please touch all the injured with Your healing hand and bring miracles into their lives.
I ask it all in the name above every name, the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ; the Son of the true and the living God! Amen.

We pray for Greg in Jesus' name asking that you heal him and give him strength not only to cope with his own condition but also to cope with the loss of his wife. Please help him greatly in every way that you see is best for him and his family. Amen.

Thank you Father for your healing touch. My 18 yr old son has cerebral palsy. In February he came down with menningitis. He was very very sick - unresponsive and in ICU for a week with a 106 fever. We were told he would not survive and if he did he would have severe brain damage. Every day my husband and I would pray over him and every day his condition improved, to the point where the doctors were amazed every time they would come into the room. We not only prayed for his healing but also that he would be better than he was to begin with. It took him 2 months to recover, and now he is healthier than he has ever been! Praise God! He still works miracles. Even the doctors are calling it a miracle.
God does hear our prayers and He does answer them!!

Thank you Father for this glorious touch in Stacy's sons life! You are so Awesome beyond words, Lord!!! Please continue to be near this young man and his family. Shower them with Your blessings and may Your Spirit visit their hearts daily! May Stacy and her son be devoted in sharing this witness of Your miraculous touch, for the rest of their immortal lives! What a blessing it is for You to allow us to share these wonderful testimonies! Thank You Father, for ALL You do! Let all the disabled fill a touch from You today, I pray.

I would like to share a poem I wrote about my disabled son.... hope that's ok....
HEALED
I asked You many times, O Lord, to heal my crippled child.
But You just held me in Your arms, and tenderly You smiled.
I asked You, God, to touch him, and make his body whole.
You looked at me with knowing eyes, and gently touched my soul.
I asked You, Holy Father, to take away his pain.
But you left for me a rainbow, and a soft and cleansing rain.
I asked You, Precious Jesus, to make the sickness go.
But instead You gave him grace and strength to let Your purpose show.
I asked you, Loving Savior, to help me understand.
So You came and sat beside me, and You reached and took my hand.
You taught me many things, my God, as I watched my child endure.
He suffered trials repeatedly, but still his heart was pure.
The lesson that I learned from You, through Your merciful design.
Was that he did not need healing, all the while that need was mine.

Father, I come to You in Jesus' name; and ask that You calm the frustrations in all the failed efforts, that's attempted in the disabled today. Lord, help them to know that if they don't succeed with the first try, that they should continue to put forth as much effort as they can, and to call out on You for help and strength. Be by their side today, dear Savior. Strengthen their weaknesses and encourage their will to accomplish their tasks. Help them all to reach their goal, I pray. Grant to them a joyful heart and a satisfied spirit.

Wow, Stacy! That's absolutely beautiful!!! Thank-you for sharing this poem. It's been almost 14 years since my son's accident that left him quadriplegic, and it's as though God has spoken to me through your poem. I've told others how God has taught me so much, through being my son's caregiver and how God has blessed us with such joy; by still having him in our lives. I kept a journal for the 100 days that we were away from home (during his hospital and rehab. stay), how God brought us through each and every day (and still is!). I never would have wanted to try to endure one day of this tragedy, without Jesus by our side! He's such a WONDERFUL and AWESOME GOD!!!
Thanks again, Stacy! I'll keep you and your family in my prayers.

3. He prays that he will hear Gods whisper of direction in his ear about where he can make a difference. He in convinced God is not done with him yet, and know he is not.
Please think about these things and pray for all disabled as you see them.
Father I thank you for Dads example, courage, vision, and support. He has kept me from paths I dont need to go down, and encourage me in the doors that I need to open.
I pray for all disabled people in this condition, open our hearts, and give us sensitivity to their needs.
Amen
Oh God, what would my Joshua's life be like if he was on earth today? I praise You for giving Him his perfect body when He met You face to face!
Please give amazing quality of life to those disabled here.

Lord I pray that you will use the disabled in some way to share your Love
May they touch the hearts of those around them and be a blessing to many.
Lord I pray that those around them would see the light of your love shining through
Thank you Lord that what the world see as different or flawed is loved and blessed in your sight.
