You know were a 70s kid when: You know any lyric from H.R. Puff n' Stuff Speed Racer was the man ... You knew that walking the dog dealt with yo yos and no dogs were actually involved Legos were the latest rage You ever wanted to have tang You wondered why Luke and Bo Duke didn't get the car door fixed You were grateful that no one every shot Wonder Woman more than twice (one for each gold bracelet) Two words: Lite Brite.

You know you're a 70's kid (well, I was a teen) when nothing phases you. Cause, well, you were pretty much part of the pioneers for most of it.

Wow. What was that like? I graduated HS in 1976. The 70's Show on TV - as dorky as it is and all that...pretty much says it all for many of us. I know there are people out there that completely disagree but seriously...they are the minority. The 70's fashions are coming back and they are just as tacky now as they were then. I was not a disco fan at all and completely went the other way when that broke loose. Much of the TV I watched in the 70's was an episode here and there of a cop show my dad watched. I spent most of my time moping around, reading depressing poetry and listening to obscure music.

Oh yeah, I remember that, but wasn't Pac-Man more of a 1981 thing instead? You are a child of the 70's if you had a thing for the Brother's Gibb (The Bee Gees) and Andy Gibb as well, not to mention Shaun and Patrick Cassidy, etc.

you know you're a 70s kid when You remember JFK being shot, the Moon landing, the Beattles coming to America, listening to Wolfman Jack when he was still broadcasting from Mexico, Elvis dead, record players in cars, Vietnam on the news each night, varity shows on TV (Donnie and Marie, Captain and Tennille), 25 cent gas, the bicentennial (i was at the celebration in baytown texas), color TV introduced, Mark Spitz, going to the store and using the tube tester and buying a needle for your record player. Could go on all day but will stop for now Class of 76 and as I mentioned above, Kate Jackson was the hot one.

Absolutely And then Jonathan Livingston Seagull gave us hope There was this little shop that we would go to for blacklight posters and patches - everyone wore patches on their jeans. In fact, the more patches and less "jean" you saw was the coolest. and who could forget Love, American Style.... oh yeah!

13 channel TV but you only got 3 and most every house hold tuned in when a National Geographic special was on, especially if Cousteau. No VHS or DVD so if you were going to watch something like "Wizard of Oz" or "Charlie Brown Christmas" you had one chance a year. Most people had only am radio in the car, no internet so more than bums hung out in the library. Most businesses closed on Sunday (very true in my area).

Radio stations on the FM simply went by whole and half numbers instead, such as Kiss 108 and 98 and a 1/2.

Vietnam POW/MIA bracelets - course, that might be specific to military kids, but I had four bands I wore.
