I only camp if there is Air Conditioning, a sleeping surface not associated with the DIRT and a REAL toilet and shower within reasonable walking distance... and NO HURRICANES. Last Sept. We went camping and a tropical storm blew through on us.

So you like the idea of a tattoo, but can't figure a design that you want permanently, I guess...

I love the idea of Art---

I have yet to find anything that totally said "tattoo me right there cause you know you cannot live without me" though.

I see, so the permanence of the tattoo really does give you misgivings, right? even though you might love some designs.

Take care.

I met this man nearly 22 years ago- Something inside me said "grab him, you cannot live without him!" I love seeing him everyday, he makes me smile. If I ever come across(or create) something that says that to me then I believe that I'd go for it. As of now nothing I have ever come across has made such a demand. I will let ya know when it does.

I think I've said before I have 3. They are only visible when I want them to be and for whom I want them to be.

But I am thinking about a more visible one in the near future. I just haven't decided WHAT to get yet....

I think there could be a market for temporary tattoos, besides the ones with sports mascots.

Oh yes, it's what many ladies do. (Including pastors' wives, grandmothers, etc., sometimes.)

JustJeannie:

You seem quite definite, then, and soon. I guess ankle is often the favourite placement.

Take care, ppl.

I suppose if you mean that it can give a lady a sense of confidence in her feminity, I can see what you mean.

I think humblespirit was referring simply to the amount of ladies doing it, however.

Oh well, yes, I guess tattoos can be a fun subject, apart from analysis.

well of course tats can be a fun topic

I don't think this thread is about the morality of such things, but rather the personal taste of such things

The point of the thread is for people who have tattoos and piercings to come here and discuss them without any sort of talk of morality, sin, etc. And for those people to hang out and talk about whatever they want.

The point of the thread is also for people who like people who have tattoos and piercings to come and hang out and talk about whatever they want.

Carry on.

I hardly think my postings have argued they are necessarily wrong.

I do think we are on shaky ground, however, if on a Christian site we say sin or morality are irrelevant.

But threads do have specific topics, yes.

This is a personal thread, not a thread in the morality and ethics folder.

Your postings haven't argued that they are wrong; but instead of participating in the discussion, all you're doing is questioning individuals repeatedly about their posts and attitudes.
