Yeah, you could say that. And some of us also have trouble doing more than one thing at a time.

Which Sports Car Are You?????

You are a Lamborghini Murcielago!

You're not subtle, but you don't want to be. Fast, loud, and dramatic, you want people to notice you, and then get out of the way. In a world full of sheep, you're a raging bull.

You are a Chevrolet Corvette!

You're a classic - powerful, athletic, and competitive. You're all about winning the race and getting the job done. While you have a practical everyday side, you get wild when anyone pushes your pedal. You hate to lose, but you hardly ever do.

Ok well now that I read the description, it doesn't sound so bad:

"You like to soak up the sun, but your tastes are down to earth. Everyone thinks you're cute. Life is a winding road, and you like to take the curves in stride. Let other people compete in the rat race - you're just here to enjoy the ride."

Still... a Miata?!

It's a sad fact, my fun friend.

Between the two of us, everyone should be virtually 500 pounds.

My dad has a '64 1/2 Mustang. It's dark blue, fully restored, and GORGEOUS.

A friend of mine had a buddy he was helping restore a 1969 Corvette (I think that was the model year, not entirely sure). Beautiful car, but rather spartan interior. It's basically an engine with some seats bolted on. A really big engine. He gave me a ride in it a couple times, but I never drove it.

Oh, all this talk about mustangs is making me envious! My parents used to have a '66 mustang that dad restored -- painted it Candy Apple Red with black interior. It was gorgeous!! And it was MINE for a while.

This is just a lovely update for those who don't follow me around the Singles forum.

Yesterday upon the advice of a former good friend I decided to eat lunch outside. I live in Northwest Florida, the weather is great and not too humid yet.

So a buddy of mine and I ran to the cafeteria (not literally; don't need to stroke out or anything!) grabbed some sandwiches and headed outside under a nice shade tree. We were talking, laughing, having a good time and right before I could even bite into my sandwich, I feel something wet plop on my head as my companion's eyes grew round.

Yes ladies and gentlemen...a bird pooped on me. In the words of my favourite cheesecake debator, "The bird pwned me."

So my companion is laughing hysterically, I'm swatting at him for having the audacity to laugh at me while wondering how to deal with this issue. So I go around a few offices, and finally find someone with shampoo. Head to the bathroom and perform that lovely over the sink hair wash that we all just loooove.

Threw my hair in a bun and finished my day. Praise GOD I don't work with people a lot (apparently I don't play well with others...who knew?) and didn't have to worry about too much ridicule....or so I thought...

My "lunch companion" (whom we will now refer to as DeadMeat) decided to email a LOT of people about my dilemma. Then they in turned emailed people. Who then emailed people.

By the time my day was over I had people in North Dakota asking me how my hair was!

Luckily today is better. I sang to the friend with the bright idea , and the friend who was with me bought me a root beer float for lunch today as a peace offering. After giving him a noogie I figure we were pretty even.

So that was my day yesterday.

Tink . . . Northwest Florida?

I grew up in NW Florida; Cantonment, to be exact.

How long have you lived there?

It will be 4 years this June. I haven't been here too long.

I'm East of Cantonment though. Pretty much a straight shot though.
