Lord, I am praying for Nan tonight..I pray for her job interviews that she has gone on, that you
place her exactly where you want her to be Lord. I pray for Nan that she sleep peacefully
tonight with sweet, happy thoughts of her Bob. Lord, please ease her pain and let her just
smile at the thought of Bob and not be sad. Lord, I just pray for a hedge of protection over
Nan, and just keep all of her good friends close to her right now Lord..

Lord, I too pray for Nan tonight. Give her good sleep and pleasant dreams. I pray she would feel You holding her as she sleeps and as she wakes up tomorrow. Fill her heart with peace, joy and abundant happiness. I pray that You would provide her with a job, one where she will find comfort and peace as well as fufillment. Bless her Lord. Help her to continue to find joy in her life. She deserves this so much.

Praying and thanking God for this woman to share with you who also lost her husband. She was a truly and godsend and I believe God is still ministering to her through her ministering to you. Similar experiences.... Father I pray you would continue to minister to Nancy and her family in this most perfect and excellent way you are doing. Continue to remind Nancy that Bob is safe and exceedingly joyful in Your arms and thanking you for her hope and future in You. Thank you for her faithfulness to You and especially Your faithfulness to her. In Jesus' precious Name. Amen.

Heavenly Father, Nan is such a precious child of yours. Stay by her side Lord as she does those little mundane things that she has always done. Help her to be strong, help her to feel your presence in all things. Send her your peace that passes all understanding. Be with her Lord as she wakes in the morning, and as she falls asleep at night. Hello sweet buddies.
Well, I spent Labor Day weekend both filled with memories of Bob and meeting him 35, yes 35, Labor Day's ago!!! Wow!!! And I also was very blessed to have some nice moments with others, topped off with a wonderful evening with Darci and Jim, and a super phone call from Drew and his wife, Laura.
Praise the Lord for beautiful moments that lift your heart.
Today, back to normal, trying to get car titles corrected, and chopping down a bunch of bushes. Well practically. I had a chance to borrow a hedge trimmer, so may have gone a little overboard. BUT, next spring they will be gorgeous.
Laundry, dishes, etc. Sent in another application. Got my hair cut. Some weirdly normal activities, even tho everything always has a strange aura of 'unreality'. .....
Please pray for God's perfect guidance on my job shadowing friday, for them to feel confident and positive about me, or for God's design in my life. Period.
It is so beautiful outside. It is so hard not to spend it loving this weather with Bob. It is our favorite time of year. It is so fallish.
How I miss him....

I need new glasses desperately. Please pray they get the prescription correct this year. It seems like every year it takes them 2-3 pairs until they get the lenses right....especially where they 'fall' in the frame, etc...
Ugh. I hate the thought of going, actually.
But I need to do it, once again, before I get 'the' job. Then it will be much harder to do anything at all, because weekdays will be 'taken'.

Lord, thank You for all of the beautiful moments You give us. Every moment like that just shows us how much You love us. I pray for Nan that You would give her more of those moments and encourage her. I pray You would give her a peace about going to the eye dr. I pray everything would work out for her and I pray believing that she will soon be working at a job she enjoys, with people that are a comfort for her. She deserves this Lord, I pray You would fill her with joy and peace.

Well, I got up at 4 a.m. and it is 5. Going back to bed. I forgot to take penicillan all day yesterday, and I can really feel the ear and sinus infection trying to rear its ugly head, so to speak. Please pray that as I remember to take the antibiotic, it knocks this, as I really need to be strong and healthy as possible. And please pray that I remember my medicine. And get the 'perfect' job. :) God, help.

Well, I feel shizophrenic.
Today at about 2:30 I was working on my pitiful budget. We have always tried to be good stewards and be very timely in payments and giving in many areas.
Where there was a line that simply said, "Bob's income", I deleted it, and instead wrote, "I LOVE YOU, BEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" You all remember I call him BEAR.
Well, just that permanent change made me cry for about 45 minutes and I had to leave the house. I drove to his grave and I drove and drove, and then finally was able to come back home.
I miss him more than I can ever describe.
I wish I was 85. We always looked forward to growing old together. We actually did. Being like the darling little old couples at church, helping each other in and out of the car etc....
We knew we would BE there for each other, with no reservations, without a doubt.
with no hesitation.
Thinking of growing old without him sounds so horrible. It breaks my heart into pieces.
Oh Lord, make me strong. Give me a backbone of steel. Make my heart pure and steadfast.
Give me strength that won't end. Courage that won't quit.
Give me even expectation of a future that is blessed by You in a way I can't imagine or expect.
HELP.

(((Nan))) Praying (and crying) with you and for you. ...Maybe it would help to go to a Christian grief support group or widow/widowers group. Please think and pray about it if one is available in your area. It's hard to believe sometimes I know but just as you've prayed, God is going to bless you in ways you can't yet see.

Father, I just ask for Your comfort for Nan today. Hold her close and comfort her, give her peace, give her strength. Help her to hold steadfast to her faith and give her hope.
Help her to find the right job, help her to get her glasses. Meet every need, Lord. Helpl her feel Your love flowing down on her.
