Lord, please continue to look down upon Nan and her family. Bless them with the comfort of knowing that their loved one, Bob, is currently with you in Heaven. Let your love be a pillar for them to lean on when times get tough, and remind them that you are with them at all times. I ask this, humbly, in the name of Jesus Christ, the Savior.

Dearest friends,
Yesterday we had Bob's funeral.....sorrowful, but joyful.
A tribute to a man loved.
A testimony to love and faith, grace and integrity, honor and purity of heart.
During the sharing of remembrances, several people gave stirring tributes to Bob and all of those characteristics and more.
Somehow God gave me the strength to give mine, and so did my son. At the end of these tributes, my daughter had made a 7 min. video titled:
Testimony to a Man Loved.
It was amazing and glorious. It started 20 years ago, and brought us up to the week before he died, with tender music to take us on into eternity.
We ended the funeral with Bob's favorite hymn, How Great Thou Art, and walked out to 'Friends' by M.W. Smith. Then they played an amazing compilation of music my son had made, which I am now keeping in my car. It too, is beautiful.
At the cemetary, our funeral director had arranged a 21 gun salute and I was given a flag, as Bob was in the army during the Vietnam War era.
No One could quit talking about Bob. His boss was one of his pall bearers. Every one loved and loves him. He was unique. I was blessed beyond most, because God gave us 32 1/2 years of marriage and 34 1/2 years of being together via our first two years of dating.
Now comes the heartache of missing him for the rest of my life.
Please pray for me and my children.
Please pray for Labor Day weekend for me, which is when I 'met Bob', and then 2 years later, he asked me to marry him. It is our anniversary of meeting.
Please pray for me on October 18, which would have been our 33rd anniversary.
Please pray for me all through autumn, which is by far our favorite season.
Please pray for me on Dec. 8, which is his birthday.
Please pray for me on Christmas.....
Please pray for me on Feb. 4.....my birthday, and the day I found out he had a viscious disease throughout his spine.....He only was with us 6 months from then until his death.
Please pray for my children on all of those dates, as they never missed a chance to send us cards, phone calls, or be with us on those dates....
They will be well aware of those dates and will hurt them too.
Again, I want to thank you.
You have been so very faithful.
May the Lord's blessings be upon your lives, your families, and your future.
Remember: This life is just a journey on the pathway to heaven. When your tasks are all done, God will call you home to heaven.
We are ALREADY in our eternal life.....how we live determines 'Who we belong to.' With Bob, it is obviously God. Jesus. The Holy Spirit.
Bob is truly in his 'place', as we fondly called it. He is basking in the Light of Jesus. He is in heaven.
I KNOW he will be watching over us.
I miss him more than I can describe. There will be a hollow-ness in my life and my days that is hard to fathom.
I pray that I can survive the pain of missing his presence in each day.
I am thankful beyond words that he is pain-free and is himself again....the Bob we all love and remember.

Father, I ask for rest and peace and comfort for PW and her family today, and all that You know is best. Bring sweet memorys to mind Lord. Fill the void with all that You know is best and good. Help her as she tries to find the job that is best for her, and the many things she has to do. but first Lord, give her rest. In Your time and wisdom replace her sorrow and pain with joy and happyness. May Your will be done Lord. In Jesus name. Amen

Lord I lift up Nan to you.
I pray Lord that you will give her peace and comfort today
I pray Lord that you will give her peaceful ,healing rest in the days ahead.
Carry her Lord in the days ahead and ease her loneliness and sorrow.
Help her Lord and provide for her Lord in every area needed.
Give her strength and hope to face each new day with you Lord.
Lord I pray you will wrap you arms around her and hold her.
I ask you Lord to bless her and keep her in your enduring and sustaining love.

Lord, oh Lord, please bring comfort and peace to Nan.
Please keep her under your wing and just love her Lord
Please give her a peaceful night sleep tonight and just
let her feel your presence there with her.
Please give her the energy and strength she needs to go
on with her daily life and being with family and friends Lord
Please just ease her pain, fill that void, and continue to keep
her focused on you Lord....
I know that I am heart broken for you Nan, but Praise God that
Bob is now with our amazing Lord in Heaven!!! You will get to be

Lord, let Nan rest in You these days and months ahead. Give her good friends and family to lean on. I ask she could even feel Bob's presence at times--- if she needs him...I believe our passed on Loved ones do understand and can come to us in dreams...etc.
Let her realize it is okay to feel anything. Anger, sadness-- it is all okay. I ask all these things in Jesus Name, amen

Thank you for y our continued prayers.
Yesterday i tried to order a double tombstone, and just could not put it all together, make decisions, etc....
It has so many factors and it was horribly expensive.
I went out ot the cemetary and tried to look around.
Well, at least this will all be done for my kids. No one will be out running around buying graves, tombstones, etc....
sigh.
Please keep praying for me for strength, joy, hope, assurance, and the perfect job.

Father,
Please provide surprising strength, joy, hope and assurance for nan. Bless her with financial provisions that will go beyond adequate. Somehow, cause this stage of her life to be the beginning of the best years of her life. Thank you for her unwavering devotion to you. Thank you for being the greatest. Dear Heavenly Father I lift Nan up to you this day.
Praying Lord that you will be with her and help her in all she does.
I pray Lord you will help her as she makes decisions.
I pray Lord you will give her a calm spirit and peace as she goes forward with you.
I ask you Lord to guide her and direct her as she looks toward her future,
I ask you Lord to help her not feel overwhelmed at this time
Give her strength and assurance as you guide her steps.

Nan, know that every day i pray for you and your family..
I pray the Lord gives you comfort
I pray the Lord gives you a calmness
I pray the Lord gives you strength
I pray the Lord just be there with you through your
daily activities, and that his presence just overflows
through your home
I pray the Lord will give you rest tonight and that
you sleep peacefully tonight
Just know that this is temporary and that one day you will
be with Bob for eternity...I praise the Lord for that...

Nan... its time for you to be at peace.
In the name of Jesus Christ, the Savior, I pray for this for you. Let God's will be done in your life, and my He strengthen you forever. Rest easy with the Lord, my sister.
I just feel compelled, right now, to tell you this. God is truly with you at this very moment, I believe. Be at peace from your suffering. Again, I pray for this peace for you in the name of Jesus Christ, our Merciful Lord and Savior.
