None, unfortunately. :( But each rejections is a stepping stone, so to speak. I guess that's the good part of it. Maybe?? I just feel for anyone who steps out into the writing world. It's so very hard to get published and everyone needs all the help they can get. We have to help each other along, that's what I've learned. Someone lifts me up as I lift up another writer. That's why I look at technique cause that's what They, the great and mighty gatekeepers, look for. It can break a writer when they get so many rejections. It's kinda sad if you think about it.

yes, "the community" is important. the community of writers. or dancers. or artists. and many do ignore technique, or the technical aspects of their writing. they think that [self]expression or an idea, is enough. and it isn't.

keep on keepin' on...

LOL!!! Well, you keep getting your own query letters back with a little note in the corner that says, Not for us, you start getting the idea that Self expression ain't worth a dime. As John has said before, there's an art to writing. :)
