Obviously, the tp was used outside of it's God-ordained purpose. It's no wonder that it decided to come unrolled as a consequence... Used in it's proper purpose, tp is a wonderful and beautiful thing. Repentance and reconciliation is needed.

quote:

How many Hail Marys' and Our Fathers' are required as penance for this severity of sin?

1. abstain from further improper use of tp
2. to make sure that tp is properly valued; tther after each use...
3. 4 Hail Mary's and Our Father's for each improper use

Add to the above:

4. Write on a sheet of paper, "I will stop using this toilet paper improperly." 100 times for each time you DO use it improperly.

5. Wash your hands eight times before touching the TP, that way, it won't roll away from you!

Sadly, this term is now a descriptive of Mr. Cranky, as he neglected to show up for his jury duty.

Wonder what the TP is like in jail.

Can't be good.

Oh, Cranky. What happens now?

How's it feel to be married to a bad boy outlaw?

This very thing is why the TP must come off the top of the roll instead of the bottom!!!!!

Our TP does come off the top and still does this ceremonial unrolling of itself.

I used to think it was the kids doing it...until I watched it myself. I had some apologizing to do.

At our house, the paper towels do the same thing. What can this mean?

If I could get him to wear leather and ride a motorcycle, it might feel pretty cool!

Good news! Mr. Cranky doesn't have to go to jail. The agenda for the day was canceled, and so the jurists were not required to show.

Yeah, let's pray that this doesn't spread to our Christmas or other wrapping paper!

I've killed the toilet paper thread.

You know you've hit bottom when you've killed the toilet paper thread.

Kerrlaw, maybe you should replace the roller with one of those tightly loaded rollers that refuses to unroll and only lets you remove one square of tissue at a time.

This reminds me of a conversation I was part of last night before our Church dinner. One of the men at church has his own company. He recently installed one of those paper towel dispensers with the "eye" and when you put your hands under it, it spits out paper. Well, one of his new dispensers got stuck "on" and someone went in the bathroom to find a whole roll of paper towels unrolled on the floor. He got the digital camera and took a picture and sent it to the company.

We have one of those at our office. We have also learned not to put the trash can directly under the dispenser. It's one of those where you step on the lever and the lid opens, so I got towels when I waved my hand to get one to dry, and another one when I flipped the lid open to toss it, and another when the lid flipped back down.....

Yup. And they expertly made the paper so thin it can't be pulled without tearing, while at the same time being quite fibrous.

I can't even imagine the diabolicalness (like that word? I just made it up) of the mind that devised that entire system.

Slightly off topic rant.

Does anyone have problems with the eye control faucets? I stand there at the sink wildly waving my hands in front of the eye trying to get the blasted thing to turn on.

I don't like those and I really really don't like the automatic toilet flush...especially when it flushes before you are ready for the flush.

Oh Memaw, I so agree! My little girl gets on those huge toilets and for some reason the sensors always think she is done and they flush before she is ready. The very forceful flushes spray water everywhere! Poor girl!
