Please pray for my strength in walk with God. I need a closer walk with God. I talk to Him daily and mostly all of the time and the answer to my loneliness has not been forthcoming. I ended a relationship at the end of October and the hurt still exists. I was with this person for 5 years and he told me in so many words that I was useless to him and the look he gave me during the heated argument was one of total disgust. I am really hurt and I have tried to be the best person to any man that I have been with and each time I am left alone. It's a very strange feeling and I just want to know that God is there with me. I need God and I love Him and I am in constant prayer. Could you pray for my strength? I believe that God is trying to show me something but I am receiving no answers.

Ladies, please remember this thread is for prayer requests only. Please do not reply telling someone that you will pray for them, that you know how they feel, etc. Please use the chat thread for responses or send them a PM. If people start responding in this thread then the actual prayer requests will get buried amongst the chatter.

I have to go to court tomorrow for a traffic violation. I'm very nervous about it.
My dad goes in for surgery on Friday.

Pray for a woman from our church. She just got word that her brother has about 3 days to live (long term alcohol abuse) and he is not a Christian. Please pray that he will be saved in time. His name is Kevin.

I am struggling with my eating disorder (anorexia)...again. I guess all the stress from studying for finals at college. I get so frustrated, how can I beat it and it come back like this? I need prayer...

Please pray for my dad he goes to talk with the doctor about test results and about where he is going to get scans and such because they believe he has a brain tumour. His doctor told him its the only thing that can explain all the problems he has been having. He has been sick for very long time now :( and on top of that he is lossing his eye sight even more now

My mom had a biopsy today, as "something" was found on her last mammogram. They think the odds of it being cancer are low, but I know it will be on all our minds until the results come back.

please pray for me, I am going through so much emotional turmoil with my life, I am fine with putting on a smile and being happy on the outside, but the past week it seems to be to much, and I am very much so starting to feel "down in the dumps". I am diligently praying to God, but it seems more like I am talking to myself, and it is more like a waiting period to see if anything changes. Thank you.

Prayers for some ongoing issues I am dealing with (family, finances, job)
Also two days before Christmas a coworkers wife died suddenly. So prayers for him and his two adult daughters.

My neighbor has gone into labor several times since just before Thanksgiving. She isn't due until the first week of Feb. So far, they've been able to stop the labor each time. She is now on bedrest. She is normally a very active woman by nature. Please pray for her. This is her third child and she has two very little and very active boys.

I would like to ask for prayer that my pain and health issues would subside so I will be able to take care of my mother who is 87 and may have to have 2 more surgeries in the coming weeks. I live and take care of her and I have to be able to be there for her--and it's sometiimes difficult when my health problems get in the way. (I usually don't tell anyone how I feel because I don't want her or anyone else to know I'm hurting). I am concerned about my mom. Please pray for her, too. At her age, any surgery is risky.
