It is also the pic I have on my business cards. Is your busines in photography and video? Yup...so to speak. I do amateur photography: portraits, weddings, parties. And I also do photo archiving and restoration as well as slide shows. I get a little bit of work here and there, but it's not like a full-time job.

Photography is in my genes. My grandfather and his brothers ran a well known photography studio in town. I love getting the perfect shot, DH hates to waste money on the film so digital is great for me. But right now I am trying to get some pics to my computer and I am not having success at all. It gets so frustrating sometimes. Beckey, it is great for you to have this work that you can do part of it at home so you can be with your precious kiddos. Did you work at one of the bases previously?

duh, I never finished my answer....before I quit working to stay at home with the kiddos, I worked at the corporate accounting office for the parent company of Church's Chicken, Popeyes (and at the time) Seattle's Best Coffee and Cinnabon. That accounting office no longer exists though. They outsourced to Deloitte & Touche right when I went on maternity leave with Evelyn, and I never returned.

(landabee wanders out... thinking of funny stuff she and Beckey did together in junior high and high school...mutters to herself:"No, not THAT one... lessee.... um, No not that either...~sigh~....) Oh come on Jalanda! You have got to tell us at lest one now, you have us curious about your escapades! I know my jr & hi school buddy sure has some meat on me!!! She tells her jr hi age DD about the fun we had. Hmm...I'll post such a story in my thread. Well, the problem is... I wasn't always a nice person when I was younger. And while the stories just might be amusing... they certainly aren't nice. Sad but true... Let's just say that "corn flakes" and the seven dwarves singing, "Hi-ho, it's off to work we go" was in the mix. I'm trying desperately to remember funny band bum stories involving Mr. H... Beckey and I were in band together (sat next to each other), drama together, the flag and rifle team together.... We were a part of a group of really smart kids that no one suspected got into trouble. LOL!!!

Trishy, *whispering* You are ususally here late at night. He usually comes on late at about 12:30 Central Time. You figure what time that is in Hawaii. Keep watch and I'm sure you can get him. Add him to your buddy list and his name will show on your forum page buddy list. *stops whispering* You are on my buddy list, as is Beckey too. I just love it when my list swells with all my friends names when they are all online at the same time.

lol happydays! I used to do that in chat...there was one person that I needed to avoid. I added the handle to my buddylist so when they came online, I could leave! We need a "not-quite-buddy" list!

ORIGINAL: happydays I also have people on my buddy list I really don't want to be in a thread with! I alsays click their name and see where they are so I can avoid them! Happydays, I have done that . . . but it was more to see if they talked that brainlessly in all threads or just the one we were mutually posting in Yeah, Trishy, there is such a REAL thing as a buddy list --- kinda neat, as Lori said, to see all my friends on line at the same time -- and to be able to click on their name to see where they're posting so I can find them right away . . . . btw, I'm adding you to mine!

Sibling Confusion I grew up the 6th of 7 kids...my Mom would often get frustrated with us and would almost always scream out "CA-SU-LI-D-LIS-BEC-LA......OH YOU KNOW WHO I'M CALLLING!!!" It was hard not to snicker quietly when this happened. And she would also often call one of us by the wrong name, which we would always (often indignantly) correct her on.
