Yeah, Marsha, it's not something to consider lightly, I agree. It's a big deal for sure. I'm in agreement with you about waiting on God's timing--doing what you can but willing to wait.

I agree that you should consider surgery very carefully. Get friends from church to pray about it, too. I'll pray!

I agree. Surgery isn't something that can be taken lightly. Best to wait on God's timing for it. I know it's hard though.

Yeah, I'm not a big fan of surgical pain; an elective surgery would need to be a purty sure thing.

Man, I'm difficult to entertain lately. I'm not in the mood to do anything. Nothing holds my attention, nothing sparks my interest. I do still enjoy my nightly movie and I got some good ones that I haven't seen. Tim and I watched Love Comes Softly last night and plan to watch Amazing Grace tonight. I also got The Guardian, The Kite Runner, Emma, some Perry Mason dvd's, for nostalgia. I recall my precious aunt, Vada, loved that show in the 50s. Mother and I lived with her and ma-maw until I was school age.

I've been told I need to read The Kite Runner. Maybe I'll add it to my library book list.

add it and "A Thousand Splendid Suns" his other book.

BOTH are GREAT books but need tissues unless you have a heart of stone.

Also a little graphicly violent. Well more than a little.. but still amazing reads.

I think I have a heart of stone. I never cry. I will gasp and bite my nails and hold my breath and my heart will weaken, but I just don't cry.

Don't cry in movies either. Never have.

But ... I'll add his other book to my list.

I just finished my third Jodi Picoult book. I really like her.
Gotta return this one to the library and get something else.

I have a couple other books at home to read too that I bought awhile ago. I wonder where they went. Hmmm.....

Hi all. Brandy, the baby is adorable. Good to see you.

I may watch The Kite Runner tonight. I may get that book, if it's good. That reminds me, I want to read Tuesdays with Morrie. I enjoyed the movie; The book is supposed to be better. I don't read as much as I used to.

My pastor visited me with my friend. He says he wants to encourage me and I really believe that is his intent. I always end up feeling worse and I can't pinpoint why. I'm behind on on my e-mails, so I guess I'll catch up.

Maybe his visits make you miss church...? Just a guess.

Hi Marsha . . . glad the pastor was able to visit you. I'm sorry it makes you feel worse. As Deb says, maybe his visit is just making you lonely for church, and the fellowship you used to enjoy there.

I haven't heard of most of the movies you've mentioned. I've been real into reading lately, and am enjoying it immensely.

I'm glad your pastor visited you too, Marsha. You're precious. I'm sorry though that it doesn't make you feel too good afterwards though.

How ya doing, Marsha? I hope you've had a good weekend. I know you can't post often, so I'm not worried. Just praying that God will send you encouragement in the midst of your struggles.

I'm just fine; doesn't take much to make me happy, for the most part. Good movies to watch, a little conversation, no family crisis.

Tim is, I think, an atypical mamma's boy, but a mamma's boy nonetheless. He just went through something and who knows what''s ahead, but I'm enjoying it now.

Pat stopped by to cut Don's hair. Now that she has more time, she can do that and he has more spending money if I don't have to pay for his haircuts.
Sunday will be our 23rd wedding anniversary; we won't even see one another on that day. My aide is going to carry in from Acapulco's on Friday and maybe we'll fish out the ole photo album.

When we decided to have children, I was challenged to become the woman I wanted for my offspring's mother. I actually think I succeeded to a large degree.

I think you did too, Marsha. Congratulations for that and for your 23 years married! You need to start thinking ahead to your 25th and figure out something you two could do to celebrate.

Hi Marsha, now you are not gonna believe this, but I had a dream that I met you in person the other night. Strange dream, eh?

No doubt about it. As we say here in Joisey, "You done good".

I'm sorry you can't see him too.

What movies have you watched that you'd like to watch again? I like most of your suggestions, so it would give me some ideas of movies to watch.

The movie was mostly in Arabic. The English was in print, but it was too difficult to read from a distance, so we turned it off.
