BTW, Karen, you changed your handle! When I first looked I was trying to figure out why this apparently new poster knew so much about the situation that you were talking about. I was starting to think that she was the woman who you were talking about instead!

That really made me laugh. Especially with this ending it.

Mike I hope all the dentist stuff goes well. May God bless you on your job interview and may you find favor with the interviewer.

Now, I use ALT and 167 to get the same result myself. [/font]

Are you using something other than Windows? Alt + 167 gives me a completely different symbol §.

Now Euty, what version of Windows are you using? I am using normal Windows Vista, and it worked with Windows 98 also.

If that woman found me anywhere speaking honestly to anyone concerning her business, I am very confident that she would have me for dinner...after fattening me up in a cage first, of course.

My 113 lb size would not even make one course.

Well a snack then. Everyone loves snacks.

I have had a lot of fun on the computer tonight. (not really

I made my computer beep at me and not just once but continuously. That's a first for me. I am glad Sweety wasn't in here to see that.

Before that I was working on changing my avatar. That's never fun for me. Sweety couldn't figure it out either. That apply button gets me everytime! I can't wait to tell Sweety I figured something out that he couldn't. Yeah probably another first for me. I should revel in it while I can. No doubt it will probably never happen again in my lifetime.

Good Morning, Good Evening, Good Whatever.
I do know that it's Friday and that's about all I have to say about that.

Didja know that we need to watch out for Pyrex Panic!!!

Oh Dear!

Feel free to Google it. I still can't figure out if I should worry about this or not.

Speaking of snacks, I think I'm gonna find one. Thanks Rachael!

I would only be worried if I had those kind of dishes. The thought of something sontaneously breaking alarms me. We don't need any help with stuff breaking around here. We lose at least a cup or plate or more every week or so. Usually it's the kids dropping something. Sometimes it's the adults in the house dropping stuff. We go through alot of dishes.

That's not exactly breaking news, is it? Enough to crack you up. Shattering, in fact.

Ain't been around 'cause I've been working hard at things and avoiding talking about not funny things in here. So now I will troll you a bit. You've had your break! So now I will shatter your light and easy peaceful atmosphere with the sounds of breaking glass!!!

No, can't do that but oh! Shattering glass can be so satisfying when it vents your tension and gives you feelings of calm and peace!

I think I have one pyrex mixing bowl left...the small one. I never put it in the microwave 'cause I just don't do things that way. Now, I might have to try it just to see!

Our microwave has proven itself indestructable. With all that it has been through over the last ten years, it still works the same as it always did. When I make mistakes putting the time in I usually error by 10 - 16 minutes too much. When that happens and no one catches it, it means fun fireworks and a serious cleaning of the inside of the microwave.

I remember the day the glass plate that came with the microwave cracked in half. It made a terrific noise.

Well, we already miss that little girl that lives next door. She has been gone to the farm since Friday and there is no telling when we will ever see her again. Hopefully her mother will put us on the list of people she can write to when they decide to let her write to people.

I got to talking with a woman that works around the church that my neighbor lady (yes, that woman) used to go to before she started attending the New Life Center. I found out that she had already been 'round that block that we went 'round over the last few weeks. Seems that woman tried to get the church to take her three children of minor age. She told them that she didn't want any of them.

After she took the girl to the farm, she went and got the "boyfriend" and moved him back in with her. I have been gagging ever since. She also promptly forgot about our running program and gym cleaning deal.

I won't knock on her door. I just can't stand the idea. I want to keep peace and a reasonable and amiable enough relationship but I am not going to knock on her door.

Now there are two people in this world that my dog doesn't like. We did not influence him in any way to take this opinion. When "boyfriend" stuck his hand over our fence, my dog wanted to bite his hand off.

I have a sweet labrador who normally likes everyone. He has a lot of humans standing in agreement with him though.
I could give him a roll of toilet paper and tell him to run around her house on Halloween!

Just kidding! God would never let me get away with it. He never lets me get away with anything!

Well, I thought about not posting today, but then I realized if I didn't post all of you would get 4 straight days in a row without me bugging you. I couldn't let that happen!

Sorry to hear the girl got sent away. Though on the bright side she doesn't have to put up with the icky boyfriend. Gotta look on the on the bright side.

Speaking of bright...it is too bright here today. I just wanna go back to bed.

My lovely daughter will be flying in this afternoon! Think I'm excited??

I won't be talkin' (or typing) to anyone in here until Monday or so.

Just wanted to ask everyone to please pray for our time!
Thank you so much!

It is so true! I just pray that these children that I've talked about will turn to God more and more and not become terribly bitter toward their mother.

Mike, how did it go with the dentist and interview?

The interview went ok, I will know hopefully by mid this week if they will go further with it.

Dentist went well, but then painful afterwards. I took Monday and Tuesday off. I went home early on Wednesday also. This weekend I am finally starting to get back to normal.

Oh time chnge on Sunday...gotta remember that. Thanks Euty.

Hi April! I have missed you too.

Karen, what's up? Sorry I cut our chat short the other day, but you caught me at a bad time. I was actually under the desk. Yes, seriously. H knocked over my drink and I was cleaning up the mess. Earlier the same morning my other H knocked over my drink. I know, after spilling OJ on two previous occasions myself, you would think I would know better then to have any liquids near the computer. I really hate to see my Dr.pepper go like that too. Such a waste So, are you having bad weather?

My computer is playing a song and I don't know why. Nothing popped up. Actually it would be the perfect stalker song. "Love has no distance baby...not when it comes to you and me." Somebody named Elissa singing. Now she is talking about her life. I really don't care. I just want to know how it just started playing like that. Wierdness.

Gotta go.

Oh I thought it was something like that, Rache!

What had me scolding myself for a while yesterday was when I realized that all the comments I was posting were not there!

Finally I was fortunate enough to see that it was an error going on at my end and folks were not deleting my comments for inappropriateness!

It is raining and our snow and ice melted the middle of the week...nice to see Halloweeners don't have to treck through ice and snow this year. I asked someone if they were going to go Halloween'en. Everyone who heard me laughed and said they never heard that word before! Now dd is saying that she is going Halloween'en.

It meant getting pumpkin pie and cider at the last stop of the evening to me.

For an update on the interest in global warming in my county, click on the following link and scroll down to the bearded guy. Don't bother clicking on the link for the whole story. You will get the results from the Indian election that took place on October 24. I will add in some of what is missing.

LINK

"...a bell was rung 350 times at Mission Valley United Methodist Church. The number represents what most scientists consider the safe upper limit for carbon dioxide in the earth's atmosphere--- 350 parts per million...

The current atmospheric level of carbon dioxide is 390ppm, and if it's not reduced quickly, earth and its inhabitants risk reaching what 350.org calls a "tipping point...

According to Running [a University of Montana ecologist and forestry professor and serving on the UN's Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change], the next five years are crucial in combating global warming."

Otherwise, our world will self-destruct and we will all die.

I'm just glad to see that only 30 people were worked up enough to attend the meeting. Many believe every word said on this subject. I know of two business owners here that do.
We have seen no supposed signs verified of this impending doom here where we live.

It appears to me to be a great deal harder to down-right impossible to prove then the truth of creation and Noah's world-wide flood catastrophe.
Which reminds me...God promised that he would never do something like that again, no matter what man did.

LOL!

Halloweeners, that is funny. I like to say Happy Halloweeny Day.

Glad to hear you aren't buried under a pile of snow, Karen.

I don't believe what we are being told about global warming. It's just another lie.

Neighbors in the back yard started burning something. The kids were playing in the the front yard and our whole house was surrounded by smoke. They quit and it has cleared up so the kids can go play. Wonder if they heard me griping about it.
