Yes, I do, and I have already quoted it. Here it is again:

T.D. Jakes said in this article:
http://www.christianitytoday.com/ct/2000/108/13.0.html

quote:

ORIGINAL: T.D. Jakes

The language in the doctrinal statement of our ministry that refers to the Trinity of the Godhead as "manifestations" does not derive from modalism. The Apostle Paul himself used this term referring to the Godhead in 1 Timothy 3:15, 1 Corinthians 12:7, and 1 John 3:5-8. Peter also used the term in 1 Peter 1:20. Can this word now be heresy when it is a direct quote from the Pauline epistles and used elsewhere in the New Testament?

Shall we look at those verses?

1 Timothy 3:16
16By common confession, great is the mystery of godliness:
He who was revealed in the flesh,
Was vindicated in the Spirit,
Seen by angels,
Proclaimed among the nations,
Believed on in the world,
Taken up in glory.

Sorry, but I had to point that one out. Not that 3:15 supports Jakes' case any:

1 Tim 3:15 (NIV)

if I am delayed, you will know how people ought to conduct themselves in God's household, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and foundation of the truth.

Why wouldn't he just "speak" to that "demon of disease"? Rebuke it?

That only works when you're telling OTHER people to do that, silly.

It should indeed show his followers just how little he really believes in his own teachings. This would be a great real-life example to confront them with the next time they attempt to defend him.

Excerpt from article:

Summit organizers were unable to reassure Bishop Jakes there was no chance of catching the viral hemorrhagic fever believed to be rodent-borne. Two out of three victims of the disease, who died in Johannesburg, had come from Zambia.

"This decision was made by Bishop Jakes and his team because of their concerns regarding a disease they understood to have originated in Zambia," the statement reads.

Meanwhile, the tele-evangelist reportedly electrified crowds at MegaFest International, on Saturday, in Johannesburg, South Africa. "I believe the true purpose of the ministry is to go beyond the traditional walls and minister to the world **," said Jakes.

** ... except places in the world where there are sick people, diseases, or no luxury hotels.

You would think that.
Really he could touch a person with aids who just spit in their hand and then shake his hand. The man must have a fear of death. Needs to speak with his buddy Dr. Phil on how to over come that problem.

As a Christian my advice to T.D. Jakes (besides repenting of heretical teachings, the fleecing of the Gospel and making merchandise of men) would be to turn to Jesus for that overcoming of fear to death. The Jesus of the Bible, not the Jesus he believes in which is a false one of the Oneness Doctrine.

I have heard that Jakes publicly supported B. Obama in spite of his support of abortion and same sex marriage. Is this true or was I misinformed.
