Deal, not really an issue for me.

Deal. As long as they are safe while not wearing them

Deal, I knew all those locksmithing classes would pay off one day

quote:

DOND: They consistently beat you at almost every game.

Deal! Gives me more time to get really good so I can eventually beat the socks off of them!!! (Brings out the competetiveness in me!)

quote:

DOND: They need to do heavy physical activity from time to time or they burn out.

Deal! That's good for you.

quote:

DOND: More often than not, they'd rather run the dishwasher than wash the dishes by hand.

Deal. No biggie. I'd always rather run the dishwasher. Problem is, I don't have one.

quote:

DOND: Wants to serve their country in the Military, or something like that.

Deal. That's very noble.

quote:

DOND. They are not "green" in any way. Not reckless in theiruse of resources but not really concerned about it either.

As long as they're not reckless about it and open to making simple changes, like throwing the recyclables into another bag right next to the trash.

quote:

DOND: Won't hold your hand during scary scenes of movies.

No deal!!! I like Claire Huxtable's response when she and Cliff were discussing scary movies. He always thought she was really scared during those movies. She said she wasn't scared during those silly movies... it just gave her an opportunity to jump in his arms.

quote:

DOND: They're in the upside half of an emotionally draining period of life.

Deal, as long as he includes me in this.

quote:

DOND: Has to research everything very deeply before they make anything but the smallest decisions.

Deal. He can help me research my decisions... including the next car I need to buy.

quote:

DOND: They are hard of hearing and are constantly asking you "What did you say?"

What did you say?? Deal. Like Shema, I have some hearing lossin my left ear from years of playing piccolo.

quote:

DOND: They are physically slim and trim, But everyone in their entire family is significantly overweight.

Deal. I'd be marrying him, not his family (well, technically anyway).

DOND: Loves God's creation and is a total nature gal... and is not scared of handling snakes.

You have no idea how funny this is to me!!

Deal if he was keeping the snake far away from me. No deal if he handles them for fun.

DOND: They scream loudly when they're scared, so that loudly that people 100 yards away can hear them.

Deal. Loving nature is cool. Don't really care if they are scared of handling snakes or not. Snakes are not my favorite pet of choice.

quote:

Deal if he was keeping the snake far away from me. No deal if he handles them for fun.

Let me add that if they are handling them for religious purposes that would probably be a no deal.

quote:

DOND: They scream loudly when they're scared, so that loudly that people 100 yards away can hear them.

Deal. I'd just have to make sure they were on my bad ear side before letting them get scared.

DOND: They enjoy breaking new trails through the woods. (When they are allowed to or forced to)

DOND: They don't get their money's worth at buffets because they eat small amounts at each meal.

Deal. That means that they are probably eating sensibly.

DOND: They have OCD and have to wash their hands many times a day.

I have cookbooks for singles but but I like to stick to Weight Watchers... they have points values, portion control, and surprisingly good recipes... it helps me to be on it because I am more aware of what I can eat for the day without eating mindlessly and without feeling stuffed.... yes, it can feel limiting but I can think of worse limits than on limits eating I want for the day.

Deal. The buffets lose enough money on me to make up for us both. (as long as they a re eating enough. Eating too little can be just as bad as eating too much)

quote:

DOND: They have OCD and have to wash their hands many times a day.

If that is the ONLY thing they are OCD about and it is under treatment, deal. Else no deal. I've not the strength at this point to deal with serious mental illness.

DOND: They do not keep a good calendar and are always double booking themselves.

Deal, IF he doesn't WANT to go to the buffet, because I, too, do not get my money's worth at the buffet.

Deal, I am an excellent planner. I will keep him straightened out!!!

Deal: A man of GREAT faith who puts God as his Top priority and is becoming Godlike every day!

No Deal: a religious man with fake phony appearance of religion who is churchgoer but is worse off than the secular folks or you cannot distinguish him from the rest of the world.

As long as I don't have to do the same and they aren't OCD about everything else, that's fine.

quote:

DOND: They do not keep a good calendar and are always double booking themselves.

It would be endearing if they double booked trying to arrange for time for the two of us. I'm pretty good about keeping the calendar, so deal, as long as they didn't think I was nagging.

quote:

DOND: HAS to have a pillow to cuddle when sleeping, even if you are willing to cuddle too...

Deal. I'm a pillow cuddler. The most important thing is that we're comfortable.

I'd agree.

DOND: They like to be called pet names but initially have difficulty coming up with pet names for you.

Deal. She can cuddle the pillow, I'll cuddle her. (And I get by far the best end of the deal!!)

Deal. As long as they call me often.

DOND: They have children and the children entertain all the kids in the neighborhood on most days.

Hi, often. How are you?

Deal. I'd rather the kids be where I can make sure they're okay and have what they need than wonder where they are, what they're up to, who they're with, and such.

DOND: They appreciate the utility of couches.

Huh??? If you mean a couch potato, then no deal.

DOND: Looooves renting cartoons. Like, Tom & Jerry or Loony Tunes.

Cloak, this is actually a game thread where someone asks Deal or No Deal and the next poster answers and then asks another question.

Deal as long as I have time to get some sleep sometime in the day. I can't go more than a few days on only six hours of sleep each night.

No deal. I hold very strong opinions (that I believe are biblically sound). I want my husband to hold strongly to what he believes in as well. If we disagree on important issues, problems would eventually arise.

Deal. That could be fun. It would also be fun to read at the library or to check books out from there and read them in the comfort of home.

DOND: They prefer to read the book before seeing the movie.
